Agreed. Howarth’s contribution in the play-offs was outstanding. The two 5-1s in heats 13 and 15 to steal it from Edinburgh in the semi-final, then his pass of Zach Cook - who he absolutely bullied - and beating of Lawson in the final at Ashfield were massive. I really rate Dan Thompson, but being passed by Lewi Kerr in heat 12 of the final was an absolute killer. Retaining Hodder was even more of a no brainer, unless we were planning on binning both reserves.
