You have most people wetting themselves regularly on this forum. Have you considered stand up comedy Steve? Stop me if you’ve heard this one. There were 2 Australians, 2 Danes, 2 Poles and an Englishman...5 points

Jesus Christ, what a bunch of half bakes. Who’s gonna have the last word? me! me! no, me! Oh please Miss, let it be me! Difficult to believe these are adults with jobs/wives/kids Sad5 points

Your posts are neither funny or clever. Stop being a moron with idiotic posts about Coventry on a Poole thread. Pathetic.3 points

Pleased to see that Craig got 10 Paid 15 from 5 rides for Rybnik today. good luck in Abensberg tomorrow Craig3 points

Are you ok? You come across as a little bit mentally disturbed. You could just ignore them and do something productive3 points

its becoming beyond farcial and lack of communication is joke3 points

The current formula in the SGP with sixteen riders, twenty heats, two semis, and the final, and all points scored counting for the world cahmpionship is simply the best they ever had.3 points
-
Oh! So end of the season now? We were all under the impression that your (not so) magnificent 7 were going to smash other teams from the off. Sounds like you have lost faith in your starting 1-7 already3 points

Its Speedway in Poland always lots of pressure to score from fans, management, sponsors what does he expect.3 points

Depends on the length of gap, frequency, lack of communication, awful music, cold, whether you want burger..etc. I'd rather have a good efficient meeting & then enjoy ...2 points

Woz it's for fans like yourself that I will be attending Coventry next week and bringing people with me ..Your approach and attitude is great and I hope you get to watch your bees for years to come in whatever form just like us brummies do..2 points

Funny how czestochowa are leading the meeting and then the track gets mysteriously over watered which is unusual for gorzow and czestochowa fall apart2 points

Really odd this ..Wolves have done really well over years while running on a Monday other clubs has gone bust or lost loads of money like Eastie who ran on a weekend . But now because Belle Vue don't like running on Mondays somehow running on a Monday is now a massive problem for Wolves ?2 points
-
Though It was going to be slightly closer but Bees were just too good for IOW. Morley was excellent however. First 4 heats took an hour but fair play the following 11 heats were done by just after 5. Crowd was bigger than last week which is a bonus, i expect a few more when Birmingham visit next week.2 points

The opposition was very, very bad. Watched it and it was a one sided borefest. Still, you can only beat what is in front of your and Cook did that easily. Should boost his confidence as well as his pay packet.2 points
-
You are incorrect, Ladbrokes who own the stadium, decided to close the home straight, nothing to do with lack of speedway numbers. In 1996 when Wolves reached the KO Cup final we had to race the 'home' leg of the final at Long Eaton while alterations to the greyhound track were going on. Not exactly ideal eh ? But renting a track, you are totally in the hands of the landlord.2 points

According to Roy Clarke last night he would be missing for 10 days.Mind ,he also asked Nathan Greaves if he would ride as a guest next Saturday if asked. He might be a wee bit lonely if he does come up seeing as there's no meeting.2 points

bomber is the top scoring non qualifier so more than anybody he deserves a wild card but there should be no wildcard at all at world championship level2 points

Going back through months of posts to prove it is a bit sad. You still need to get a life or a hobby.2 points

So he thinks Sundstrom is Danish?? Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!! Taking the pee and he still gets it wrong, too funny!!2 points

The magnificent 7 is actually Rickardsson, Loram, Ward, Holder, Middleditch, Simmons and Boyce just so you know!2 points

This forum wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for a bit of banter. It would be more of a borefest than it is now. People should never be afraid of throwing down the gauntlet. Being afraid of a sentence coming back at you is ridiculous. And I believe by the end of the season we will smash Swindon. Bookmark it ready to throw it back!2 points

Couldnt disagree more and it hasnt worked in the past.. the polish kids are far and away the best in the world because they get used to riding under pressure early on. Tai Woffinden also rode in Poland early in his carrer and he is our only top line rider... if you want to get to the top you need to get used to riding under pressure2 points
-
Perfect weather for today's meeting, a nice 21°c. Hopefully a better crowd than last week!2 points

Brits have helped each other in the past...I guess the question is maybe whether there was anyone there to make the riders aware of the situation. In his first big meeting I can imagine that Dan wouldn't have been thinking about permutations for others...Even Robert might not have been thinking of Dan as a threat given his performance up to then...they would have needed someone to have a word...and I'm guessing no-one did that. Edit - Just saw teaboys comment. Hopefully Lambert will get one of the wildcards. Harris, not so much.2 points
-
I guarantee no other country in the world would have let this happen with Lambert needing a win to progress We really are the best at making things hard for ourselves2 points

One big league is nonesense. Fans will not come for Poole v Redcar or Berwick. How is that going to pack out stadiums? Clubs like Sheffield and Ipswich should be in the top flight and they way they acted when the premership wanted Mondays and Thursdays was frankly disgraceful.2 points

Have you seen the new No Limits initiative Rory Schlein, Tai and others have put together?? I know a load of the potential talent talked about above have been on that programme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMl-i2otwvk good video this1 point

the worst format was when riders deliberately got beat to keep gate one in the next heat. Rickardson was the main rider doing that. Boring to see him trap out from the best gate in each heat. Easier to win a world title in those days.1 point
-
That's a shame... Well at least we might win at Edinburgh then Edinburgh and Brough are both tight tracks and Kevin is more of a number 1 than any of the other riders we have...1 point
-
So we use another teams reserve as our heat leader and carry r/r really and they expect a good crowd ????1 point

Why do you whinge & cry so much about Woffinden not riding in this country when judging by most of your post's you don't like the bloke. So why would you want to go and watch him, therefore making his appearence in this country irrelevant to you.1 point

Germany has Michael Härtel and Lukas Finhage still under 21 years old1 point

SS may stir it on the forum but I would rather have him on it that that idiot from Poole who never goes to any meetings or kks1 point

Glasgow to sack harris ! not chance .p/borough should get rid of lambert . nicholls dropping 2 points off his average is a joke . bring in BWD , then again , you cant because of your irregular race days . stop moaning and knuckle down .1 point

A no, its embarrasing really, when your no.7 and last minute guest are the only 2 to seem to offer any resistance and, agree,,, wasted t/s.1 point

Your post brought memories back to when i was at Pfaffenhofen for the World U21 Final 1982, Loram had completed his 5 rides, it meant if Adams won his last ride he won the meeting. Adams was off gate 4 and Dave Norris off gate 3, remember Ian Thomas & John Berry giving Norris a right talking to, telling him he must stop the run of Adams on the first turn. Thomas last word of advice to Norris was, make the gate and don't turn left till you hit the fence!!! Happy days1 point

I’d also be looking at replacing Wilkinson surely? He’s been really poor considering he was meant to make up half of the strongest reserve pairing in the league. I’d rather see someone like Greaves or Perks brought in who will at least improve unlike Wilkinson who is only going one way and it’s not better.1 point

Personally, I think the problem is the limit of 15 riders in the series. During the years where they used the 24 rider knock out format it seemed like it worked better for having the right riders in and also allowed more fresh faces in. 15 permanent riders just feels too limiting...1 point

Another week and another big team disposed of! Excellent meeting for both Jye and David with their maximums. Onwards and upwards for this "bang average" team1 point

With every single one of them committed to British Speedway.. They might not be 'Superstars' but very, very few are.. The vast majority of riders will always be 'average'... Let them earn couple of grand a week on 'average'.... Every week..1 point

Good luck. It seems the crucial point is to totally reject Brandon Estates' claim that the site is redundant, that both sports have moved on to alternate venues and that there is no professional interest in running the sports at the stadium. This is where the supporters can make a difference in proving there is still a demand for the sports, that the running of the Bees at Leicester is and can only be a temporary move, rather like Coventry City's enforced short-term move to Northampton, and that there are promotions waiting to take it on. In the case of the stock cars I would imagine there would be quite a queue. Bear in mind for BriSCA stock car racing Brandon is their equivalent of Manchester's NSS and if it is their leverage that is needed then it must be totally embraced. Brandon is one track where speedway and stock cars have shared in harmony for decades. That unity is never more vital than now.1 point

I'd say Iversen is the must do better. Kasper is doing just fine considering his age and experience.1 point

Bellego was class last year and it would take a very fickle fan to get on his back after a few dodgy meetings. This Reading fan is very similar to MFF on the Poole threads who wants a rider out every week if they have a bad meeting. You can tell the difference between fans who actually go and watch Swindon and Poole compared to those that don't.1 point

But the crowds are terrible It's working so well that the spectators will not go on those nights1 point
