Guys, Track Prat is nothing more than a moronic brainless troll with nothing intelligent to say. Lets just all hit the report button and get rid of this excuse of a person. His posts on here prove he is clearly a troll.6 points

I am relay sick of Championship teams using foreign riders at reserve, for god sake how are we ever going to ever get more British riders coming through. There are enough riders in the National League to cover those positions. It worked in 2014 to a extent in the Elite league but should then have been tried in the second tier. Anyone got any opinions on this4 points

You have to wonder where a lot of riders keep their best Machinary these days. How riders are still trying to sort out bikes makes you doubt it's over here.3 points

good example to this is kyle bickley very good national league rider but look how hard hes finding it in the middle tier im sure most expected it to take time for kyle to start scoring but combination of things has made it hard for kyle 1 day he will click and start scoring and then in turn start improving just because theres plenty of riders in the lower league it dosnt mean they can fill a reserve berth in the league above successfully3 points

I`m sure there is a valid reason somewhere, but I am struggling to find one, giving the amount of help and support you and the rest of the supporters club have giving to both club and riders you would think it would be good PR at least to do presentations in-front of the fans in the stadium.3 points

Told you so...... Huge well done to the Berwick track staff and their magic covers...... never dreamed it would be on but it actually got dusty!3 points

Until recently the home promotion paid a percentage of the visiting riders points money the riders own team made up the difference, travelling expenses where usually shared when clubs had old fashioned tours and did the northern clubs on consecutive nights, problem was not all clubs where great at paying their dues on time if at all2 points

Sorry, long day! Proctor it should be. Although, does anyone else think the guest rule is flawed? Why are Peterborough only allowed to book a guest up to Ulrich's average of 7.41? The Panthers team declaration is at 40.51, surely we should be able to book a guest up to 9.40?2 points

i know a good few years back that the home promotion paid all travel for both sets of riders and that the away team were on fixed points money and that the away promotion actually made up the difference in points money for their team members .. its not a bit of wonder that clubs are having a hard time paying riders as they only have 1/2 the income from the home meetings for both home and away fixtures . YEP , speedway is in a proper mess these days . cant see the sport lasting another ten years , if i am honest . that not just @ workington , but all over . .support it while its there . .2 points

It doesn't matter what you do or how good the product is you simply won't get the crowd on a Monday that you would on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. People have a limited amount of money to spend on sport, entertainment or leisure activities and most of it is spent at the weekend. It's common sense that people are more likely to go out when they have no work or school for their children the next day.2 points

You have enough hot air to sort that out for yourself.....2 points

Years ago British riders tried to make their way into speed way via the second half reserve and rider of the night races, these have long gone now but it was interesting spotting future talent. Nowadays we don't even give them a chance at no 8 when rider replacement is used.2 points

Good win last night for the KLS Bandits Academy. Last night's junior meeting was sponsored by the Berwick Bandits Supporters Club.2 points

I've still got all my Speedway Stars going back to 1960! But, I feel I have better things to do with my time than trawl through nearly 60 years worth just to catch Philip out!!!! Maybe writing another speedway book on "Good Tactics in the Speedway of Nations tournament".2 points

Amazing innit? Three totally different reasons. NL has probably saved itself from a bore/dust fest though. Good opportunity to do some work on the track?2 points

But neither of these points will be taken into consideration by some fans on here2 points

Surely now the time has come for the SCB to take action over the ongoing safety problems at Stoke. In the last 3 meetings, 3 riders have ended up in hospital. Last week James Chattin ended up in critical care with broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a damaged spleen (Thankfully now on the way to recovery). Tonight heat 1 took 4 attempts to run, and ended with just 1 finisher and one faller pushing over the line for 2nd place. The match was abandoned when 3 riders all fell on the second bend of heat 11. In between there were 13 fallers in 10 heats, and 3 riders withdrawn from the meeting with various injuries. Spectators were again covered in ridiculous clouds of dust from the first bend. It was also the fourth meeting of the season to have a second half MDL meeting planned....and the MDL riders are yet to race a meeting. Every single one postponed/abandoned by some sort of Stoke induced calamity. All this on a dry, fine night. Things have now gone beyond a joke. Riders and fans have long been inconvenienced by the dust, poor track, generator failures, air-fence deflations, electric failures, etc etc... but when rider safety is being so badly compromised with riders ending up in hospital on a regular basis, and multiple riders withdrawing injured every meeting, surely it's time for action.2 points

At the start of this season Stars management told us things would change on the media front, due to the appointment of R Brundle. They have kept there promise as things have changed. Things are worse.1 point

Mark McIlkenny got 2 from 3 rides, Berwick won 24-12. It's good to see how many people stay behind and watch the juniors racing, you often get better racing than in the main match. Berwick have got a good junior setup going and good to see the other Northern tracks getting teams in the league as well.1 point

I can only agree, this was clearly the way to go forward and as per usual it was fudged.1 point

Probably but only 1 rider reponsible for control over said machine and doesnt change the outcome Original comment made no indication of intent1 point

again captain fantastic with a crap return away from home on a track that he normally likes just is not good enough. kus has done more in his two away meeting,s than lindgren has done all season. welcome back matej you must be a bit peeved why the promotion overlooked you for nearly a season and a half after going tooth and nail to sign you as a full asset then never used you.i for one are glad that you are back a very likeable guy always got time for the fans you stick it to the promotion pal and show them what you can do1 point

Many moons ago, Milton Keynes got kicked out of the league for similar scenarios like stoke are serving up on a weekly basis.1 point

I think Flappy meant at what cost to us for not making permanent replacements... Up to last night, i'd say probably minimal... Making use of the guest facility is always gonna be a gamble, sometimes it works...but last night they were pants, didn't amass anywhere near the points our lads would've scored. That said, I'm pleased we're sticking loyal to our injured riders, hopefully they'll be back before too long and we can kick on again. Short term pain for long term gain.1 point

Better meeting than i thought it was going to be . Worky's three scorers kept it interesting without ever looking threatening to get anything . Certainly if one of the missing riders had been there it would have been closer . Still you can only beat what's in front of you , and on that respect it was job done . We're still missing a points scoring reserve to make us contenders though .1 point

A record 150,00 people attended Coventry Motofest over the weekend of June 2nd/3rd. The organisers provided an excellent position for the SCS&S campaign group stand and we were exposed to thousands of visitors that we would not normally expect to see. We had so many positive conversations with people and everyone we spoke to wanted to see motorsports back at Brandon ASAP! http://savecoventryspeedway.com/news.php?extend.1581 point

I have changed my mind over the last few weeks. I do see that a decisive final is required, now. Not just for a TV climax but also because it also keeps the later heats alive and hotly contested by many teams. Don't have a final And you'll get a lot of dead races. Just look at the British Final on Monday. It would have been dead after heat 16 as Robert had an unassailable lead at that point. I feel that both teams should go into the final capable of winning. Whichever side wins a heat advantage in the final wins the tournament . But if there is a 3-3 in the final then that is a tie and on 'countback' the team with the higher qualifying score is the winner. Same rules in the heat 43 race off between 2nd and 3rd scorers.1 point

Can't agree with that, it's about getting both team members over the finish line before the opponent's two riders, as it should be. If a rider dashes off into the distance every time with no regard for his teammate a la Milik that's not pairs/team speedway.1 point

I think the better way would have been that in the event of a 3-3, the top scoring side are the winners. Not just because GB were top scorers, but to make more value of those 40-odd races beforehand. So the second top scoring side would need a 4-2 to win. Talking of that final, I was disappointed at the end, and commented on here that we might have won if Tai had slowed the race, but when you see Tai's comments, they make sense. Basically, we went into that race with a winning mentality - to go and win the heat and, thus, go in and attack the race. Race positively. I can see the validity in that, even though it never worked (mainly because the Russians had a very strong pair and it was unlikely either of them would finish last). In the end, Robert Lambert was very close to passing Emil at the end of the race, but never, so the tactic never worked. But they went into the race with the mindset to go out and take the race, and the main reason they never was because Russia were on a 5-1 on the first lap so GB became every man for himself.1 point
