Breaking News** Si Kellow, the new promoter confirms Kent will be racing at Iwade in the NDL in 2022 via Facebook. Some will point out its a massive step backwards from where we were a few months ago, to those I say it's a massive step forward from where we were yesterday.. League Speedway in Kent lives on.11 points

Personally think Leicester to be applauded for sticking with twins this season, particularly Dan. Seen it so often young rider gets to the "difficult average" and gets dumped back to NL or go backwards for having to find a place in a weaker side. Playing the long game that may not have a challenging side next season (IMO), but for following years the may be able to consistently if twins progress6 points

well what actually happened was they ended up in the same town, not sure if it was after a meeting or not, both probably drank a little bit too much RL was taking a p!ss in the car park, RW saw what he thought was a long-haired attractive woman semi-clothed in the car park, a drunken exchange was made which gave RW what he thought was the green light to proceed, then obviously this lead to the embarrassment of RW realising it was RL After a very firm no, some handbags so to speak were exchanged RL accused RW of being in the wrong and saying he shouldn't approach people in car parks RW accused RL of being in the wrong for having long hair and shaving his legs5 points

Really rate Tom Brennan. Has ability to be number one in next couple of years if not this year.3 points

Its never going to be a level of CL #7s as they will want paying. The PJL will basically be a MSDL level so NL reserves and others making up the numbers (because lets face it half won't want the midweek travel to then sit and wait until the end, treated like 2nd class citizens and quiteboften not get rides anyways). Its a cheap way of providing "extra value" to a night (until the standard is shown to be so embarrassing that the whole thing is dropped mid season)3 points

No white lines today unfortunately... job was abandoned... rain and snow stopped play... however I popped down today before going to another call out in Durham and in the hour and a bit I was there the lads had put down 180 ton of shale... in fact the shale was going on the track that fast Steve Lawson was struggling to keep up grading it in... however knowing Steve as I do and him being a bit of a perfectionist that surface will be spot on come next March... all 1200 ton or so of it... I'm really pleased had convinced myself he would have moved to a track closer to home. He comes across as a decent lad as well as being a brilliant prospect. His decision to stay with us also shows loyalty to the Glasgow fans and owners. Did I say I was really pleased2 points

The bond is round about £10-12k. Teams then have to have a retained list with minimum values depending on the league. Something like £15k for CL and £25k for PL. If they don’t have that, then they need to lodge additional cash to top up the values. All very antiquated - retained lists need to be abolished and replaced by a far higher bond of at least the £50k that you quote.2 points

No idea what happened to Riss this season but he’s far better than his current average.2 points

Sweden's going bust. In a year from now they'll be worse off than British clubs. Some of the 2022 Swedish line-ups are woeful next season and it's a two team league as everyone else is putting together a 1-7 that wouldn't even with the league in Britain tbh.2 points

I take it Buster not really involved in Ipswich anymore then if Batch and Chris are a strong possibility!2 points

As an ex dog man, who still has contacts within the Sport this is 100% correct, the only thing you forgot to mention is ARC also have major interests in Horse racing Tracks, but the model is pretty much the same with that ie all weather Tracks if possible.2 points

If true and Batch has gone to Ipswich. Replace Batch with Tungate who fits within points limit to i.m.o make an even stronger team.2 points

I feel for the fans going to the talk-in, to be told, we've decided on our team but we're not going to tell you yet.2 points

The problem is ARC and their "business model". They have realised that they can run Dogs with or without Crowds during Covid 19. By getting Betting Levy income they can run behind closed doors, minimal staff, minimal costs and make more profit in a couple of days than Speedway (or anything else) will pay in a season in rent. Their argument would be that they don't need the hassle! Live Dog racing beamed round the globe is as close to a virtual sport in the flesh as you can get. They have taken over Perry Barr, Newcastle ; Sittingbourne. Hopefully no more dog / speedway venues will fall in to their clutches.2 points

For their first season I thought both did very well. It’s no big deal if one rode a little better than the other. It’s too early in their careers to know who will come out better. They will have their whole careers trying to get one up on each other, like the Worralls.2 points

If you 'withdraw your services' when not getting paid, you get banned for 28 days... Meaning you could lose more in future earnings than you are actually owed... Not much therefore, in the way of proper options for the riders is there? Does the Captain not still sign that declaration that no money is owed? And didn't the bond used to be £50k in either assets or cash? Presume that has changed?1 point

The only obligation to ride in Denmark is for their sponsors. Nicki historically has had big Danish sponsors, there is no obligation from the authorities.1 point

Stop getting all defensive, I’m not disputing what you heard or what you’ve said. I’m simply saying there is a contradiction to what you’ve heard this evening, to what has been quoted on the official site. The official site can’t put a “positive spin” on it, as they’ve quoted him. He either said what’s on the site or he didn’t. Had his best away score at Wolves this year and seems to go well there, so seems a good fit, despite either liking or disliking The track.1 point

There are many rumours on a forum, some true, some not, if you don't like reading rumours then this forum or any forum isn't for you.1 point

That was their initial ruling in 2019, with it going to only one other league from 2020. Danes do not have to race in the Danish league, but Nicki has some high value sponsors linked to being with Holsted, so it's unlikely he'd stop racing there.1 point

Blindingly obvious my a*se! When a team is assembled at the start of a season, it is with a view that riders will either up their existing average or at least maintain the one that they are on. If Bates and Proctor had delivered on the latter (as we know this went t*ts up), both twins would have remained at reserve. The twins had never raced at this level previously but finished with a combined average uplift of almost 4 points.1 point

I agree, would give new owners time to assess the whole situation thoroughly, what they can work out with stadium owners, sponsorships etc and start planning a team with a plan in place, hopefully if the rumour is true, brummies will come out of it healthier and in a much better situation to work something out regarding the stadium, rent etc, but I think a season away could also be detrimental in the long run1 point

Until a major league sponsor invests enough money to take the sport forward, and insists that their investment is professionally run. It will continue to lurch from year to year. The failure to attract a major sponsor is the biggest failing of the powers that be and should be recognised as such1 point

Buster Chapman is not on the Management Board. He’s not had any say since he stood down two years ago. Having been a member of the BSPA, it’s my view that having a sports’ professional with no affiliation to any club as CEO would be far better than the current situation which tends to rely on well intentioned - and hard working - amateurs. Running a sport needs different skills to running a team, and needs to be a full time job1 point
