  1. Mr Blobby, now I don’t know you, and I don’t come on this forum often, but I’ve been told of your repeated telling stories about my son and where he has signed to! You appear to be just trying to make trouble with a 16 year (which is quite sad) as you are saying the same lies over and over! Let me clear it up for once and for all - Ace signed for the first club that asked him, and that was Glasgow! And that was even before the matches that took promoters attention, yes he had quite a lot of offers and calls, but he stuck true to his word and stayed with the club he agreed to first! Now hopefully you can stop sprouting lies that you ‘claim’ to be in the know about!!! Thank you -

  3. Given the state of his equipment he turned up with, it was a miracle he made it that far.

  4. Thought you might leave it at that. Your rep is disappearing as the in the know faster than a puddle in Tenerife.

  7. One request... Can we keep basso and nowak apart? That's got watching through your fingers all over it!

  8. Why? There’s a rather unsavoury witch hunt going on over in the championship threads over young Drew which is a bit out of order. Absolutely fine not to rate a rider, I don’t rate Zach Cook for example, but some of the stuff being said about Kemp is rotten.

  9. So why have Wolves got the best RS,and they didn't get first pick.Cant see any of the mentioned riders being better than Flint.

  10. So thankful for Poole. God bless them.

  11. Glasgow look strong so far and if the riders sign as expected they will start as seasons favourites for the title. Fair play they are investing in the right riders with a mixture of experience and youth which will make them very entertaining to watch at home and away for fans.

  12. pretty sure he will get the hang of these tracks a great rider who will put a good few points on his average for sure

  13. King does NOT get a deduction when determining riding order ( only for team building), so he is no 1 rather than Riss.

  14. Self employed worker in opting for the best wage shocker. In any case the FTR's are chosen by a draft system for 2023.

  16. I’m shocked a sensible Poole fan. fair play too you are you sure your a Poole fan though?. This goes completely against the grain.

  17. Think Bagpuss made a post about Glasgow and social media . This saddo then scours Glasgows social media to find a mistake and then has a sly wee dig, if it wasn’t so pathetic it would be hilarious. Oh well whatever floats there boat just a pity we don’t have a Poole free Zone on here so adults can participate.

  25. 2.5% is for team building only. The 'Rolling Average' will still determine team position. Danny King will be No1

  29. Minimum ave for Brits in Champ is 2.00, Prem is 3.00. Which makes sense as you want the top NL riders to start at 2.00 in the Champ but stepping up to the Prem too early doesn't help anyone, so the minimum of 3.00 in that league seems correct I'd be perfectly happy for the minimum averages for foreigners to be 4.00 in Prem & 5.00 in Champ, encourage Champ clubs to fill the lower half of their teams with Brits, save money on air fares, accomodation, workshops, visas, work permits - all of which seem an unnecessary expense for a sub 5.00 rider!

  31. Roynon did improve when he went to Scunthorpe. Not saying he's a good signing but is still potentially a 4.0 Champ rider.

  33. With Zach cook making the jump to wolves I'm assuming Ben Cook with make the jump as well. Interesting to see if he ends up in lions colours. Would be a nice surprise

  37. Very funny, he scored very well at home towards the end of the season, he didn't ride as well earlier in the season, that is why his average is fairly low but I would have him over Kemp every day of the week

  38. Not sure you can compare Drew in Champ and Drew in Prem. Also I think Zach's average last month or 6 weeks of the season for Poole was 7/8 points.

  42. Oxford have announced ticket prices for next season. Cheetahs £20 adult in advance (under 16 free) £22 adult on the pay on the day (under 16 free) £18 last year, so a jump of £2 (or £4). Pay on the day is still an e-ticket (not at the gate), so not sure why it's more expensive. Chargers £12 adult in advance (under 16 free) £14 adult on the pay on the day (under 16 free) Same prices as last season (£2 extra for on the day purchase). Season passes Season tickets are £269. This includes 8x Cheetahs SGB Championship home matches, 2x Cheetahs BSN Series home matches, 1x Cheetahs Knockout Cup home match, 7x Chargers home fixtures.

  44. nearly every rider will get asked to ride for other clubs but untill they actually get announced they are just a number hat fits at the time if one riders changes their minds the team changes and they go with next team line up i have spoken to loads of riders who’s were offered teams for next year agreed then a few weeks later they have nothing at all as team set up changed so when riders get a solid firm offer they will take it

  45. Exactly - thats why I posted!! No point in having great social media comms and wonderfully designed announcements if the basic info is wrong!!

  46. I certainly hope not. You could argue if a foreigner isn't good enough to sign on a 4.00 ave then you should use a Brit! If Poland have rules to help their own riders shouldn't GB also?

  47. Unlikely - but only a rumour!! ps. when he launched his 2023 Sponsorship brochure on Insta and FB, he said he didn't have a club at any level!!

  50. Sad to see the demise of my favourite magazines. I have read all of them from back to front. I do get other periodicals that I read the parts that interest me. The thing about Backtrack and Classic Speedway was that I read every single word. I will miss them very much - but - I do have every single copy of both to look back on, and, that at least is a great compensation. Thanks to Tony, Susie et al for all their hard work, they can be very proud of how their Magazines have enterained us over the years. In a very real sense I can say - - -- 'THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES'.
