If they were guesting for Glasgow, but as they are guesting for Redcar unlikely.6 points

There's been a backlash to his appearance at the Blunsdon site. To be honest when I spoke to two local councillors, the Green one said it's a shame about the Moto Cross, and the Red one didn't seem to care. Not enough peeps bothered about local speedway these days. Swindon becoming a dormitory town for commuters to the south-east now, recreational stuff disappearing, just more houses everywhere being built on sporting areas.4 points

Great comeback More important though is the condition of JD - fingers crossed its more superficial than first feared3 points

Wherever it may be, we don't want those a***holes (Russell and Osborne) running anything vaguely associated with Swindon Speedway!!3 points

What it suggests to me is that we've been in the wrong league for at least four seasons, we just can't compete at the top level nowadays and are simply making up the numbers. Fifteen years3 points

We are getting press attention pretty much every week now, this is far from over and we will keep fighting3 points

Group announce intentions to bring Speedway back to Swindon | Swindon Advertiser If British Speedway give the licence back to TR then they are as bad as Osborne and TR himself.3 points

Looking forward to this mug and Tommo knocking on my door during the election campaigning. Hopefully we also get to meet Clr Adams who really does truly believe that the stadium works are complete!!!3 points

You just look at this team and you can't ever see the top 5 all having a good night altogether. With struggling reserves you've got no chance.2 points

His admission was not good enough me Mark .. Its scary to see how out of touch he is with what is going on seeing he's a local lad . Thou i would love to the speedway come back at a new venue its become just as important to me to not to let Clark and Taylor Wimpey get there way with the Stadium . I just hate the fact that the lies and corruption might be rewarded2 points

Leicester will smell blood and I expect their Management get them fired up. For Sheffield we need to keep it as tight as possible, Tai and Chris Holder will need to be at their very best, and if we are going to lose we need to keep it as tight and lose by the smallest margin and take it to a super heat so we get something out of the meeting. And we desperately need Kyle Howarth to put in a performance, and Jason Edwards needs a big performance. Rory Schlein as a guest has me worried, never been totally convinced in him around Sheffield. But Leicester will be thinking that they have a great chance to take the win and they will be up for it.2 points

What a way that would be to run a Club, you didn't want to ride every Saturday for us so we won't book you as a Guest when we need one.2 points

Agreed! He's been so invisible all this time and then does that!! Didn't take long for me to get an admittance of him getting it wrong though publicly, seems pretty gullible to be an MP!2 points

We went to Peterborough as season ticket holders however, we refuse to attend KL whilst Chapman owns the club and Allitt still works there. Our first live meeting this season will be driving through KL and down to Ipswich. People can moan at this if they want but I believe in principles and that is something Chapman and Allitt definitely do not have.2 points

We are ready to run to run speedway all we need is a venue .... Just a tiny problem then lads2 points

Sparing Milik's ineptness....(if that's a word?) he was absolute crap! So, cost cutting or not, it made sense to sack him! As for crowds? re: the couple of meetings? one was weather affected (Leicester) match wasn't completed and the other was on TV....would expect these circumstances to have a negative impact... The signing of Sedgemen will cut costs, but it certainly wont increase the crowd levels2 points

They always go by averages these days. Mountain & Howarth's are above Dan's. Even if he wasn't in a SGP2 qualifier, he wouldn't have made it. Shows the flaws in not having qualifiers for the British Final. Dan has done well this year, but misses out because of last year's scores.2 points

Well something worked as both pages on the PCC planning portal are full of objections, so a big thank to anyone who made the effort I've equally had the same thoughts about the club ownership but have been told: "Don’t get hung up on the ownership issue, it really isn’t that important." so that's a reliable message on that situation IMO.2 points

Hopefully nowhere! £10mil per point scored sounds like a good deal1 point

I'm exactly the same - it's almost as important to me to make their lives difficult as it is to get us back on track.1 point

That would be the same Jamie Etherington who was riding in the Kent/Lakeside meeting at Kent on Sunday1 point

That was my guess on the pod last night, might be a bit closer if Paddy has another good night but more likely to be a wider margin. You never know though.1 point

I edited my post it’s not 4 years because there’s two fixtures a year, so only two year! Not too bad1 point

Ipswich have won their last 4 visits to Lynn is that right? That’s a bit embarrassing to say the least to lose your last 4 home meetings to your local rivals!1 point

Indeed. We can focus on the real issues and not get deflected by who owns what.1 point

Err, its the second news feature on the home page and has been for over 24 hours. If you looked you would have found it as you post is timed 12 hours after the meeting preview was uploaded. Previews on Speedway GB are uploaded on the morning of the meeting with the exception of some weekend meetings, but dont let facts stand in the way of a forum post.1 point

Yawn. Shut up you two, you're both in the wrong and nobody else cares. Let's move on, please!1 point

Funnily enough there were quite a few sensible Cradley fans who vocally supported Wolves after they closed but again you had several Cradley fans (or Neanderthals) that used to turn up at every meeting cheering for the opposition and trying to pick arguments with Wolves fans. i remember them well. Each to their own I guess.1 point

None of that's an issue imo, that's happens with every social media platform. The issue with Facebook Speedway pages are people getting banned because they have a differing opinion to the page owner &/or mods. Many of these pages just end up becoming 'eco chambers'.1 point
