I’ve just been called by a usually reliable source who has said Laguta and Sayfutdinov both said it would be unfair for them to be seeded back into the GPs so they are looking to get a slot in the GP Challenge qualifiers. Meanwhile, WBD contacted Hancock to see if he would consider a return as they need a USA representative. He declined but suggested another American. So the wildcards will be Blodorn (because they want a German) Tai because of the Monster connection, Berge because of the French Eurosport connection and Manzares. But, like LagutaRacingFan, I might have just been listening to the voices in my head.7 points

Peter Schroeck is the Christina Turnbull of TMs.6 points

He's made a few shockers this season, but that has to take the award as the most incompetent decision this season!!5 points

I'd like to say a few words in defence of Peter Schroeck and ht 12 . . . . . . . . . . but, honestly I can't think of any.4 points

Can't believe Killeen didn't come in for Boughen in heat 12, but that's Peter Schroeck for you! That's the sort of comment that got me banned from the Oxford FB page lol!4 points

He probably cut across an Edinburgh rider once about a hundred years ago, that's where the hate is coming from 🤷♂️4 points

Past it? He won a ******* round and finished runner up in a second...oh and top of the Prem before his injury....stop talking garbage you plank.Seriously gets worse on here4 points

I hope that the promoters see sence & vote for 2x home & 2x away for a worthwhile league fixture list for 2025. By that I mean worthwhile for both the riders & fans & even the stadium owners Can we also have someone different doing the fixture list PLEASE.. PREMIER LEAGUE. Why don't we run the U.K. Premeir league on Wednesdays & Thursday? You then only have to fly all the superstars in & out once saving a fortune!3 points

Considering Poole have won the BSN series, finished top of the league and still have a great chance of overturning 12pts I'd day some Poole fans on X need a reality check3 points

I'm disappointed in Schroeck's poor management, but that's Poole's biggest loss of the season. I'd have taken 51-39 before the start. Bravo Sam Masters. Well done Dan Gilkes as well, 8+1 is decent return from four rides.3 points

I'm surprised he didn't put Boughen in heat 15!!!3 points

I would not be a happy Oxford fan! Even Sam Ermolenko would have put Killeen in that!3 points

Urgent message for Steve Shovlar: Hope you enjoyed the footie. Unfortunately, the Unipart Car park is now full. You will need to go to Thornhill Park and Ride, catch the P and R bus into town and then a no.4 bus to Blackbird Leys. Should see you around heat 13 or 14!3 points

The simple fact Oxford have already stated they will be doing all three leagues again next season suggests there's no way it's returning to 2 home and 2 away format in 2025. They would never be able to fit all the fixtures in.3 points

I was there that night also and I like many others thought it was an engine failure and then I found out the reason why. I also remember the time when invitations were sent to a few riders from the then British League to an open meeting in Poland at the same track that would be hosting the World Final two weeks later, Ivan was the only one to accept the booking which gave him some timely practice at the track. He was using his head as he did at White City that night. Needless to say he went on to win another World Title there. What a man what a rider. Is he the greatest of all time ? I think so.3 points

Let’s say Doyle didn’t make another semi final which was unlikely given his form at the time of unjury and only got 8points from the remaining GPs he would of still made the top 6 on 111 points, I think that should guarantee his wild card spot, same goes for Michellesen and the other 2 are laguta and sayfutinov, only really madsen who could feel hard done too, woffy shouldn’t even get a sniff, his GP form this year from 6rounds were dreadful2 points

Killeen has come on an absolute bundle this season, whenever I've seen him, he's impressed me far more than Hagon or Boughen2 points

Wow! Vinnie Foord! It's proper heart in the mouth stuff whenever he's on track 😲2 points

Always a subjective discussion, but... He did nail six world titles in the "golden era" when competition was truly at its fiercest... Fundin, Briggs, Moore, Collins, Olsen, Michanek, Jessup, Simmons, Louis, Crump, Jancarz, Plech, and so many many more truly World Class riders, raced at the top level against him... To win it six times in that era was trruly staggering...2 points

Try filling the 6 blank weeks through the summer with something creative like, I don't know, a fixture! Were several 2/3 week gaps at most clubs too.2 points

Looking forward to this. If Oxford pull out the best in their riders they could sneak it…but need a reasonable start from the first leg. Go for it Oxford… always had a soft spot for Oxford as they were the first team I saw at Belle Vue in 1963.2 points

Congratulations to the Aces, very strong team at the right point in the season and they had a very good balance from 1-7. The Leicester track has never been great but it’s a damn sight better than what it was when first built, there is plenty of room there, you don’t need every inch to be race able, I like tracks with wide corners as it allows a bit of get off time should a rider hit trouble, some tracks your racing right by the fence, there is zero room for error.2 points

Also Aces had no Kurtz in the final he was out with the head issue and we had to use R/R for both legs. Im certain with Kurtz we would of won the league that year as well.2 points

embra fans have been known to hold long grudges tbf not liking a rider aint grounds for excluding them from the series doyle not really my cuppa but hes easily still one of the best in the world full stop2 points

Certainly agree. And for me the wildcards would be Doyle and Michelsen and then Emil and Artem - if not Madsen and either Magic/Dudek.2 points
