They did and were on the pace in all of there heats. Im glad the poster didn’t follow us when we were dross nearly every season, don’t think he/she would’ve coped.3 points

Someone needs to have a word with him. This is speedway and there is always going to be close or very close contact.Undoubtedly he can be fast, but he needs to be a couple of yards in front to get points. He spooked himself tonight when he nearly binned it (ht2) and basically stopped. Then when Lawson went by he was spooked again.I hope he can sort this side of him out because there is potential there for all to see.2 points

The result went the way many of us expected. Lynn might argue that the margin should have been greater, but that’s down to their rider’s errors, which is not bad luck. I still think that a decent (8 point plus) second heat leader is required for the Lions to make the play offs. Points from reserve continue to be a problem. We can’t read anything into Hagon’s 3 paid 6 return as all his points were from races where only three riders finished. Kemp will have better nights but what Hagon does to justify his chance at this level is beyond me. I would expect Dickson will be looking imminently for a replacement. Who’s better? Don’t know, but who’s worse and doesn’t deserve a chance?2 points

Great effort from Dan paid 9. Main body of the side at such a difficult place to go and one of only two race winners from the away side. Good lad.2 points

These big wins by Belle Vue are not doing the sport any favours at all… I’m sure with more easy victories the fans will not go to watch and crowds will dwindle They didn’t even need their number one rider … they are not helping the league Belle Vue speedway is dying with results like this but when you can go out and spend money getting Kurtz Lidsey and Cook in over the years it’s just chequebook speedway2 points

Do you really think he's earned millions? Maybe, but I somehow doubt it? I do believe he has earned well, but millions might be pushing it?2 points

Anytime someone gets within a couple of yards of him he shuts off, doesn’t know what to do in close racing.2 points

Unbelievable really ,2 challenge matches and calling for Team Changes.2 points

Get a grip and stop panicking. Riding at four and paired with the mercurial Thompson is a hard gig for Flint and scoring up to hide GSA may prove to be a big ask. Perry and Hodder need time but the wisdom of having two 2.00 reserves was always questionable. Boughen is carrying an injury and will be a better rider once he is back to full fitness2 points

ive said before but the main make up of the team is to stop the last places and nick a first place when we can (heat 8, 12, 14). At a minimum Cook should be beating the opposing number 2 and 4, which he isnt doing.2 points

Tai has posted a reel to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/reel/675570008427768 If you can't see the reel he lists his injuries in it. Injury list 🤯 Double compound right femur fracture (pinned and bolted) Broken back TH9 plated and screwed to TH8 & TH10 Right humorous compound fracture Dislocated + smashed right elbow 12 broken ribs + punctured lung Left broken shoulderblade Dislocated left shoulder Wild typing all that out 🫠 think thats about it No wonder he was in an induced coma. Get well soon!2 points

Think that’s already been decided upon tbh. He’s already received an awful lot of help with his development and financial help to get him started. Looks a super talent for sure. And before your prickly friend from Norfolk pops up, it’s nobody’s business to be naming the club on here. The club and rider will announce when the time is right.2 points

Excellent meeting. Great to see the Diamonds colours back on track and some familiar faces from Brough Park. First visit to Redcar and very impressed with the set up.2 points

We should have won that far more comfortably, Leicester are a pretty ordinary side and we threw so many points away yet again. Fingers crossed Ben Cook is ok, he looked a much better rider tonight after his first race EF. Track was a bit funky to begin with but once it settled down I thought there was some decent action.1 point

Buster wouldn’t get away with his delay tactics on his tractor to get bomber more time in Poland and he shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it here, it’s the little things1 point

Judging by his performance against Kent, it looks like Cooper Rushen will be one to watch.1 point

cant believe the question marks on cook, whoever is at no1 in this team will struggle, thats the making of the team, once cook gets to a middle order he will be fine, then whoever moves to no1 will start to struggle. you are basing cooks performances from no1 against belle vue and sheffield, both of who are top heavy so even the teams with good no1s will struggle to score good points.1 point

I think you might be a tad harsh on the FIM here- if it’s like last seasons comp it involved many days. Firstly a training camp with expert instructors followed by 2 semi’s and the final. Gorican is one such track that is suitable for all this track action and is a great size for the girls.1 point

Totally agree, massive match for Lynn here. Big match for Leicester too, but an away loss isn't so harmful for their top 4 bid.1 point

I think a slender away win for this, the league needs KL to win however otherwise i think the top 4 will be decided already.1 point

Was speaking to other fans in the black and gold. Think they said he was having a try out this week (possibly next week) to test his injury. Hopefully back fit soon.1 point

That wasn't strength in depth. That was a stacked team full of quality. The Panthers had 4 numbers 1s riding for them (Chris Harris, Hans Andersen, Bjarne Pedersen and Scott Nicholls).1 point

Hi all, I’m new to the forum. Thought I’d add my observations from last night’s practice. Cook didn’t do many laps but did look fast when he was out on track. Hume was getting bis bike dialled in and was getting quicker every time he came out. Hagon did a lot of starts and was attacking the bends, especially the third and looked good. Kemp did the most laps and looked very good trying lots of lines and lots of wheelies for the crowd. Borke looks like he is recovering well and was exciting to watch. I spoke with him after and he is very happy to be back on the bike and Back at Berwick. All in all it was a positive evening and I think if everything pans out and the Bandits aren’t plagued by injury it’s a really good team.1 point

Good to see us race against the diamonds again. Good crowd aswell.1 point

Thanks for repeating my point about the difficulties teams have from time to time when assembling competitive sides. Glad we could agree. It’s not cool to make fun of those that are struggling with it just because things have worked out for you this time. Your bit about team building over a number of years, I couldn’t have done it better myself. What duration were you using there? Weeks, days or minutes? Classic! Do the same with the current Belle Vue team (I’d do it but if I post facts, facts that are in the public domain the trolls go into meltdown) and compare. For Ellis to be at 4 instead of Cook we would have had to tap him up last season and offer him considerable more money to join us. We wouldn’t do that. Anyway it’s time to go back in your box with the other trolls. I’ve check in and you’re all as bad as ever with the lies, anger, insults, gaslighting and yesterday the insult about the literacy (perceived or otherwise) of someone on here when there is a real issue around this currently was just a step too far. Though you may be trolls you are (I hope) speedway fans and I wish you and your team a healthy and competitive season and that you reap the rewards you deserve. One of your compadre said fans enjoy it when members of the opposition get injured. That’s not me and I hope the fate that struck us in 2021 & 2023 which cost us championship wins doesn’t befall you or any team.1 point

I think people are over reacting to Lynn's early season form. Granted they had a disappointing away defeats at Sheffield & Belle Vue, but that could be the norm this season for most away teams. They beat Oxford home & away, while the home loss to Belle Vue could be a one-off with better luck. They're still be fighting for 4th spot with Leicester imo. Which tbh is a big improvement on previous seasons. I wouldn't make any changes while Harris is still at reserve. Once he moves into the top 5, then I'd judge if anyone needs to be replaced. Certainly Kvech & Cook have been the biggest disappointments, I don't understand why Cook has been so poor, obviously riding at number one isn't easy, but he still rides with the number 2 in three races, it's not like every heat is a "heat 13". Besides if he can sign for a Polish Extraliga club & score double figures, should he not be able to score similar over here against weaker opposition? Anyway if Lynn can win their next two home matches against Leicester & Oxford, which they should be able to do, things will look a bit more promising. If they can't, then I'd be wanting to make changes.1 point

That’s the thing the BV trolls keep harping on about us cheating and being moneybags but it is down to good team planning. With the Thompson reduction at least he was in our team last season, why are they not having a pop at Sheffield for getting the same reduction for Anders Rowe when he was at KL last season.1 point

If Barker did in fact drop his average the most, then what did the BSN do wrong? I'm sure they also posted the biggest improvers. So just honest journalism really.1 point

What a very strange & insensitive comment. Clearly, as stated, the family have decided to let Tai decide when & what details are released regarding the injuries and treatments he has had to endure. In the meantime, his wife & mum have taken the opportunity to sincerely offer heartfelt thanks & recognition to the folk who in the immediate aftermath of the incident made all the right calls to save Tai from an outcome far more final than from what you think are newsworthy injuries. Those of us who share concern over the health of one of speedways greatest riders have been please to read the message and will continue to abide by the request not to speculate any further in preference to waiting for further official updates to be released at a time whenTai and his family decide is appropriate.1 point
