They did and were on the pace in all of there heats. Im glad the poster didn’t follow us when we were dross nearly every season, don’t think he/she would’ve coped.3 points

Someone needs to have a word with him. This is speedway and there is always going to be close or very close contact.Undoubtedly he can be fast, but he needs to be a couple of yards in front to get points. He spooked himself tonight when he nearly binned it (ht2) and basically stopped. Then when Lawson went by he was spooked again.I hope he can sort this side of him out because there is potential there for all to see.2 points

The result went the way many of us expected. Lynn might argue that the margin should have been greater, but that’s down to their rider’s errors, which is not bad luck. I still think that a decent (8 point plus) second heat leader is required for the Lions to make the play offs. Points from reserve continue to be a problem. We can’t read anything into Hagon’s 3 paid 6 return as all his points were from races where only three riders finished. Kemp will have better nights but what Hagon does to justify his chance at this level is beyond me. I would expect Dickson will be looking imminently for a replacement. Who’s better? Don’t know, but who’s worse and doesn’t deserve a chance?2 points

Great effort from Dan paid 9. Main body of the side at such a difficult place to go and one of only two race winners from the away side. Good lad.2 points

These big wins by Belle Vue are not doing the sport any favours at all… I’m sure with more easy victories the fans will not go to watch and crowds will dwindle They didn’t even need their number one rider … they are not helping the league Belle Vue speedway is dying with results like this but when you can go out and spend money getting Kurtz Lidsey and Cook in over the years it’s just chequebook speedway2 points

Do you really think he's earned millions? Maybe, but I somehow doubt it? I do believe he has earned well, but millions might be pushing it?2 points

Anytime someone gets within a couple of yards of him he shuts off, doesn’t know what to do in close racing.2 points

Unbelievable really ,2 challenge matches and calling for Team Changes.2 points

Get a grip and stop panicking. Riding at four and paired with the mercurial Thompson is a hard gig for Flint and scoring up to hide GSA may prove to be a big ask. Perry and Hodder need time but the wisdom of having two 2.00 reserves was always questionable. Boughen is carrying an injury and will be a better rider once he is back to full fitness2 points

ive said before but the main make up of the team is to stop the last places and nick a first place when we can (heat 8, 12, 14). At a minimum Cook should be beating the opposing number 2 and 4, which he isnt doing.2 points

Tai has posted a reel to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/reel/675570008427768 If you can't see the reel he lists his injuries in it. Injury list 🤯 Double compound right femur fracture (pinned and bolted) Broken back TH9 plated and screwed to TH8 & TH10 Right humorous compound fracture Dislocated + smashed right elbow 12 broken ribs + punctured lung Left broken shoulderblade Dislocated left shoulder Wild typing all that out 🫠 think thats about it No wonder he was in an induced coma. Get well soon!2 points

Think that’s already been decided upon tbh. He’s already received an awful lot of help with his development and financial help to get him started. Looks a super talent for sure. And before your prickly friend from Norfolk pops up, it’s nobody’s business to be naming the club on here. The club and rider will announce when the time is right.2 points

Excellent meeting. Great to see the Diamonds colours back on track and some familiar faces from Brough Park. First visit to Redcar and very impressed with the set up.2 points

Perry & Hodder are doing their jobs. When a team signs 2 x 2.00 riders it's not the reserves job to win them meetings.1 point

Excellent meeting, thoroughly enjoyable. As expected, Lynn pulled away in the closing stages but Birmingham made a good fist of it throughout and should be happy with their work. Delighted to see Ritchings back on a bike; I recall with pleasure his time with the Heathens. As a Workington fan, albeit a far-flung one, I hoped for good meetings from Harrison and McGurk; both delivered. Cannot conclude without mentioning Rushen, a genuine talent whose ability appears to be in inverse proportion to his taste in kevlars! The last time I saw something in such a lurid shade of orange and black, it was on the floor of a stately home, in front of a roaring fire, with its mouth open...1 point

We should have won that far more comfortably, Leicester are a pretty ordinary side and we threw so many points away yet again. Fingers crossed Ben Cook is ok, he looked a much better rider tonight after his first race EF. Track was a bit funky to begin with but once it settled down I thought there was some decent action.1 point

Good win for Lynn, can't help but think they'll be buggered when Bomber moves up from reserve, can't see many of the others banging in the kind of performances that Bomber does around Lynn.1 point

Buster wouldn’t get away with his delay tactics on his tractor to get bomber more time in Poland and he shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it here, it’s the little things1 point

Buster trying to kill lynn off with this track prep. Absolutely awful.1 point

It did look like Lawson coming by him frit him up a bit1 point

He was the same at Glasgow on Friday. Won one heat - got out at the gate and stayed in front so no concern about anyone coming too close. Scored poorly (if at all) when not at the front from the gate.1 point
-
He certainly is, judging by his first three rides. Looks a natural.1 point

He's tough as boots and his old man but I do hope he ponders retirement after this horrible crash, he's earned millions, triple world champion, and UK's greatest ever rider nothing left to prove.1 point

I'm looking forward to this. Some real up and coming talent on show1 point

cant believe the question marks on cook, whoever is at no1 in this team will struggle, thats the making of the team, once cook gets to a middle order he will be fine, then whoever moves to no1 will start to struggle. you are basing cooks performances from no1 against belle vue and sheffield, both of who are top heavy so even the teams with good no1s will struggle to score good points.1 point

I think you might be a tad harsh on the FIM here- if it’s like last seasons comp it involved many days. Firstly a training camp with expert instructors followed by 2 semi’s and the final. Gorican is one such track that is suitable for all this track action and is a great size for the girls.1 point

Yep 18 Tickets left for Saturday 1177 left for Friday. I think we can all now safely say the tickets were priced correctly.1 point

this is why i hate the play offs, were basically spinning wheels waiting until september from now on if Lynn do lose.1 point

Certainly not based on one meeting and I could be completely wrong but we will see. As for who Cooper signs for in a year or so I expect every club will have a conversation with him and his family and he has plenty of time to decide his future.1 point

I think a slender away win for this, the league needs KL to win however otherwise i think the top 4 will be decided already.1 point

I think this is a huge meeting for Kings Lynn I really do. And while you’re right it won’t be completely decisive, it’s the fact it’s at home to the one club they’re really competing with for a play off spot that makes this one really important. They’ll be playing catch up already if they lose this one. They could both get similar results against the others in the league be it defeats against the top three or victories against the bottom two, so results (and aggregate bonus) between the two of them could be crucial.1 point

Was speaking to other fans in the black and gold. Think they said he was having a try out this week (possibly next week) to test his injury. Hopefully back fit soon.1 point

I think it's absolute madness to pair Cook & Klindt together. For me, Iversen has been reasonably decent, not to have him at No2 or No5 is crazy management. Just my opinion 🤷1 point

Looking at the line ups, Lions have the best and worst rider in the two teams. Looks pretty even over all. I think the Stars will win narrowly and expect the Lions to claim the bonus point in the return fixture.1 point

Isn’t boughen the youngest rider in that league? And the youngest by 3+ years in the premiership. Scored 10 points in the top league in his first two meetings this year and then an unfortunate crash in his 3rd meeting while on a 5-1 with bomber. I agree he’s struggled since the crash but surely we shouldn’t be criticising just yet? I am a kings lynn fan but following his journey up with you guys. Some of his performances last season was the best I have ever seen in 40+ years of watching and following speedway. He’s 17 with 2 years experience under his belt, let’s give him time and hopefully he will do what I and most of us know he can do.1 point

Actually a decent meeting in front of a very healthy looking crowd with a good number of Diamonds fans. Wright never really looked like being beat. King also looked excellent but Edwards was the pick of the Bears for me. Quick and more aggressive than last season. Reserves battled and both had decent rides without impressing too much. Lambert is always good value around here along with Kerr, but Worrall won't have many meetings like that. Enjoyable night all round.1 point
