Superb meeting that was. Speedway as it should be with two good sides going at it, a close scoreline and some cracking racing. Credit to both sets of riders. Credit to Ipswich as they are living up to the hype and showing why they're the favourites for the league.4 points

When I heard Sheffield was going to sign Anders Rowe I was over the moon, I felt that he had gone under radar and the starting average we got him would be an absolute steal. Along with Dan Thompson I would put them at the moment the best two young riders from the UK, and at this present moment I would put Anders slightly in front of Dan.3 points

have you forgotten its at Sheffield and not at Ipswich tonight?2 points

Having a strong reserve is more of a masterstroke when a team manager gives them extra ridesđ2 points

For their next home match I'd try Kerr at 3, Cook at 4 & Rowe at 5.2 points

So sorry that the track wasnât prepared to Bombers liking as a visiting rider. Iâm sure Mr Dickson will consult him prior to the next time Bomber is back riding for the Stars and every other team in the league on his returns to the venue. Whilst Iâm still a big fan of Bomber and love watching him race, he should be above making comments about track prep criticism for someone of his ability at this stage of his career.1 point

Not unexpected despite the good natured wind ups about The Aces away form. The fact is in their hunt for league glory they have won 5 out of their last ten away meetings. Ipswich could well match this on Monday with their trip to Birmingham but having said that if it wasnât for the rain gods seeing our fixture there cancelled, we could have been looking at 6/10. More amazingly one of those loses was due to a narrow last heat defeat at Leicester. Happy away days as usual for The Aces, bring on the next one1 point

The more I see of Brennan, the less I like him. His move at the start of heat 9 was just plain dangerous1 point

Maybe it is preparing for the departure of Birmingham and thus trying to encourage another club(s), to move up without the need to expensively put a team together full of loanees, like they would ordinarily have to... That money saved could then be used to bring in higher earning talent which then makes the team(s), more competitive....1 point

Both Ipswich & King's Lynn are filmed by Rerun Productions so a Dvd is available to buy, so Sheffield is the only club in the top flight to not have either as my original post stated1 point

It could be a bit of a masterstroke in this league, was a shame to see him dropped so soon given his undoubted potential. Presumably he comes in on a 5? Dan always seems to get a nasty knock as he starts getting going and his development goes backwards, real shame for the lad as I think there is something there. Can't see him back before the tail end of the year with those injuries though.1 point

Whichever team doesn't have gate 3 three times in the first four heats has a massive advantage.1 point

Appreciate you replying on this. Strange and annoying that you have to print an e-ticket for the parking - especially when not everyone has access to a printer. (We don't !).1 point

How much longer have we to suffer Simon Lambert, would rather see Nathan Ablitt who also has youth on his side, also Jake Allen is becoming a huge disappointment away.1 point

Saw a picture of Harrison's bike after his crash this evening rather bent. Still it'd probably still be faster than Lambert's1 point

I think this prediction couldnât have been anymore accurate Scunthorpe reserves easily out scoring Pooles reserves All Pooles top 5 outscoring the opposing number 55-35 boom lol1 point

As I donât follow stock car I wouldnât know the difference between stock car or bangers and I was just generalising and when I said run of the mill I just meant it wasnt a championship event like the British final was but it sounds like a great social event to attend and this leads into my gripe about the GP being at belle vue, itâs a great track etc but as a social event itâs a non starter, itâs just a meeting, Cardiff was a social event if if the track was dodgy at times1 point

Yet most fans i talk to that have been to Workington say the track is rubbish.1 point
