think Sheffield is the only track where best viewing position is closed to the public,,,🤣4 points

Janowski it is. Like being teased Lego for Christmas and then ending up with a lump of coal.4 points

Out of Blodorn , Cook , Mulford and Tate the only Sheffield rider any of them have beaten is Etheridge … that is shocking3 points

'The scb letters to the Poole clerk of the course and Poole Promotion asked for the start marshall to be thanked for his prompt and speedy reactions to allow racing to continue and reach a satisfactory meeting conclusion despite the referee's lack of action.'😂3 points

Fans complain when riders seem to choose to give meetings a miss over here, however.. Promoters, actually plan meetings in knowing that sometimes exactly the same riders will be elsewhere on that night... The message they give therefore, is that it is obviously acceptable to UK Speedway for you to miss meetings and your presence isn't fundamentally important... Which also then, obviously gives the events themselves the same lack of fundamental importance in the opinions of so many... You cannot blame riders for deciding to stay aligned to their biggest paymaster when the UK version of the sport is ran the way it is...3 points

Heat 9 was the perfect opportunity to replace Zischke with Kurtz.2 points

Fair play to BV for sticking with Zischke, Basically threw away any chance of winning a trophy.2 points

He did. What actually happened was: tried his 2nd engine at Glasgow which had been good previously, but after first heat it wasn't good, so swapped to 2nd bike with his usual Workington engine. After his 3rd ride that engine blew up immediately after the race snapping its camchain. Back onto first bike for heat 13 with some big changes and managed to get a win whilst feeling slow. For Workington, now only had one bike so borrowed an engine from Jacob Hook ( as his workshop is in Workington) that was "strong" so that he had 2 bikes (the alternative was a 20 hr round trip to home to collect a spare engine, but only had 19 hrs before the next meeting). Tried Hooky's engine in the first 2 heats but struggled to get out of the starts with it ( heavier flywheels than normal may have been the difference? but jumped back onto the underperforming engine again for the last 2 rides and made some radical changes again and managed to win heat 13 again with a massive cutback off the first turn and a defensive ride. Was out after the meeting on that same underperforming engine trying some other radical changes to see if they helped it to perform better. So a frustrating weekend some high points, some low points and no doubt a big bill to come too. Hope that explains what happened2 points

If i were a Lions fan i think i would be on the side of continuing with r/r as it has worked so well.2 points

I'm not so forgiving, he was well enough to take 6 rides in his first meeting back, it's just the same as the rest, this is the new normal now, when riders came back from injury before, they came back everywhere, not just Poland... I'm idioting sick of it!2 points

enjoyed the day out, some good races, did watch from quit a few different areas , 1st bend and start straight, you did get covered in dust, ended up on third bend , near the food and beer, weather was excellent, and got a good view of red arrows. nice place yo visit. perfect for a family too visit,2 points

That was my first time seeing Micth McDiarmid in person, and I was impressed. People on here go on about William Cairns constantly (mainly the Poole fans, to be fair), but McDiarmid is only a year older and looks a proper talent.1 point

I’m happy to get this one out the way if I’m Brady Kurtz and got a world championship to win.1 point

Personally thought he should have made the Tac Sub in heat 5. Early but so what? Norick out, Tate or Jake out, What's the difference???1 point

Oxford have no chance now. They will have to beat Glasgow away, otherwise 18 points (what Edinburgh already have) is the maximum they can get.1 point

I'm not that confident still with us, I think anyone in the top 4 can beat each other on any given night. It does make the racing more interesting than the Ekstraliga at the moment that's for sure! Tonight should be another close match.1 point

I’d bring Jenkins back ASAP and let him be part of the team, IMO it will only feel right to finish the league how we started it and as must as we win together we also lose together as a team.1 point

With Jenkins making his comeback back at the weekend, do we reintroduce Jordan one Edward’s 28 day deal expires or has Edward’s done enough to keep his place?1 point

He loves a good bit of PR so must have known they were 'announcing' today to get chins wagging.1 point

Victor Palovaara has made an impressive start to his Oxford Spires career.1 point

There should be no real surprise that he suffered a negative reaction physically to his first meeting back Consider that after the plates/posts and screws had been put in place to repair and hold his neck back together, his muscles & ligaments had completely siezed requiring massive amounts of very uncomfortable physio in order to regain a reasonable of movement. Now we know Polish speedway tracks are large and smooth and some claim, much easier to ride that the tight technical tracks of the UK. But in reality, riding around polish tracks at 60+ mph with the weight of an helmet and the bumps and turns involved will have put some considerable strain on Beckers recovering neck - hence more physio to try and get the movement back into the injured area. Also worth noting that although he won his first two races he failed to do likewise in any of the other four rides.1 point

52-38... The Aces top three scoring around 30 off 15 rides... Plenty of very fast riding up near the safety fence with riders following around ten yards behind the one in front of them...1 point

Were they the 3 to go out and practice? I was just saying during the meeting that Batch could return to a top heat leader if only he got out and practiced more. Good on him. I know he's not everyone's cuppa tea but I like him and want him to do well this season1 point

While speedway does have a major enemy in planners and ultimately money it also is its own enemy, you can’t even get them to answer the phone or return emails when you need information to take to these planners1 point

Redcar now look favourites for 4th (or 3rd) ahead of Oxford. But could change again. However Redcar look to have the easier run in.1 point
