I really don't care if he rides in this joke league or not, I was just relaying what I was told, it was not an opinion. Learn the difference...2 points

Where did this rumour of Ipswich having a GP rider next season come from? If Louis had negotiated any such deal it is now surely meaningless if he is looking to sell up? I don’t see how people can speculate on the Witches line up when it has yet to be confirmed who is taking over or even if they will run!1 point

Oxford was built before the houses [in 1939] so planning permission was never much of an issue.1 point

True but I am a realist and most are down for planning houses with the greenbelt and would be 4 years starting from scratch.Look how long it has taken Workington for a stadium but a good one at that.1 point

I was told on Sunday that Doyle will be Ipswich no1 ? And it was from someone who does know Doyle which would means he has to go back on his own statement so who knows but like you I’m just can’t get excited about the premier league, I just feel they are making a big mistake for the sport with 5 teams, as I said on the podcast on Sunday I know they are trying for another team and I know others are trying with other clubs too but as it is right now it’s going to be 51 point

I think the Ipswich supporters have had far bigger concerns this close season than worrying about a rider they may or may not particularly like lining up for us! Wayne needs to read the room here. The only thing that currently matters is confirmation that the club is still actually running.1 point

Doubt that. Give them a big name first, then reveal some of the lower order before going with another biggie.1 point

Would have thought best option is, go for Voulas ,MPT, and a 2 pointer, then, as soon as Pickering completes a match, and his average goes down by two points or more, bring in Lambert or Starke. 1 Pickering 2 Harrison 3 MPT 4 Mountain 5 Voulas 6 Lambert/Starke 7 Ingram.1 point

Not sure that would go down well with the Witches fans. After the abuse he has been given on here over recent years, it would be interesting to see if they are fickle and suddenly love him when he wears their colours, or if they stay away in protest. 🤔1 point

I quote supporters last because the powers that be appear to do the same.1 point

I'd go for this option Michael Palm Toft 6.10 Declan Kennedy 4.63 Simon Lambert 4.431 point

A very strong reserve pairing who will continue steady progression. I think Hagon will end up being the strongest reserve. He could end up putting a couple of points on his average after being in the main team this year. He could end up causing himself issues for 27. I hope he doesn’t end up in a similar situation Hook has found himself in.1 point

The same Saudi's that have invested bugger all in the region. More chance of the Butcher resurrecting it 😊1 point

While not wanting to get anyone's hope even slightly airborne, it would be to established stadia, where planning permission is presumably still in place, that the Premiership should be looking to add to their numbers. Brough Park, while requiring serious funding to reinstall track and fence, etc, would -- if promoted jointly by the BSPL themselves (as was West Ham in 1964, which was a huge financial success despite the team finishing bottom of the last-ever -- old -- National League) might just work, not least by raising the numbers in the current Premiership. To those who say that the stadium owners wouldn't want it -- everyone has their price........ Recalling West Ham, which paid off handsomely when it was refloated after a nine-year break and later on the recent Oxford revival -- and the huge crowds that came back to Glasgow in 1988 after the city had been without speedway for 16 years, it might not be the worst idea. In a major city. After a five year gap. Just saying.......1 point

Sunderland is run by arc. The company who have just closed birmingham Newcastle Central Park Kent. Not good bed fellows of speedway.0 points

There is a cracking Stadium in Sunderland which featured Speedway in 1964 and 1971 to 1974. The Stadium is much improved since those days, but as far as I am aware there are no plans to reopen Sunderland Speedway either.0 points

No sadly is confined to the history books, the only place that could possibly host speedway is Nottingham greyhound stadium but as far as I aware there no plans to ever reopen long Eaton0 points
