A lot of red faces with all the Zischke definitely going to Glasgow know it all's.6 points

Higher ups are playing a dangerous game here. Most of these young lads will have their confidence shattered to pieces in a blink of an eye to a point where they may contemplate taking a break from the sport. Haven't thought this one through at all.5 points

Got to say probably like the majority of people I’m very shocked at Tate going to Scunthorpe of all places ?! As far as track and set up it’s like shopping at M&S then going to Heron foods! I wish him well he’s been great to watch and is a fantastic talent hopefully we will see him back home at Workington one day.3 points

You would think they would suss nobody is interested in it Phil and just run the world team cup every other year which does pull the punters in.2 points

erm..... No we dont, enjoy having the GPs, good luck to you, hope its a massive success. my comment was just the same as every ipswich fan was saying all last season, and us aces fans are going to have fun saying the same all next season 😄2 points

In the Speedway Star, Mark Lemon mentioned how he likes to keep as many riders as he can, which does make sense if they have improvement in them (like last season), as you have invested time in them and had to take the "not too good days"... It is much more of a gamble when coming off a season of good increases in averages, and for riders to move up a position in a team and even just keep the same average will be a challenge.. The joys of being successful in Speedway!!😁 The opportunity being of course, that a poor season from "the engine room" could see them having great averages for the 2028 team!!😁 Only in Speedway...1 point

From some things I've heard, theirs a few clubs in both leagues that are slow to pay 🤔1 point

Surprise and question mark signings? Sounds interesting. Do like a shock signing. Don't get them so much anymore as everyone knows something! So still waiting for points limit. I guess that is dependant on Plymouth.1 point

I to was very supprised on Tait going to Scunny, thought it was nailed on Glasgow and I could have understood that. This is the part of speedway I really dislike as there is vertually zero loyalty in the sport, what Andrew invested in Tait is unbelivable espesially all the help off track so he must be right gutted. Need some good news soon as it seems everyone jumping ship I do thke the idea of Jake Allen but if it's him Batch and Antti like someone has suggested above we are in for a real poor season regardless of what reserves you put in. Jackobsen is a must for me unless another team come poaching him to because he is much better than the average he currently has which I think will be tempting for other teams. We could do with a good teram manager named to get things started because I do not think Baz has the right experiance to do it full time, I actually thought that George English might have been tempted to take it with him being there at the track every week, or even co-promoter but Redcar jumped in and got him.1 point

I just don't understand why we don't include all U21 riders in this system? Having Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen in the rising star system makes it much stronger.1 point

tbf, i dont blame poland, sadly its just we just dont have any u21 riders who are capable as of yet, for me the best bet is to change the scheme to u24 english riders, like it was previously,1 point

insane to be honest, you can just about scrape together an ok six out of that list but god knows what happens if a couple get injured. why have they bowed down to Poland and allowed this?1 point

Whoever gets Jody Scott gets a significant advantage then! Not even championship reserves1 point

This season is very much, completely different... As all the teams have much longer to pick from pretty much exactly the same riders.. Meaning it will be the best season, ever, ever, ever..* Even better than the seven team 2025, which surely will be talked about for decades to come... * (Unless Belle Vue win again)....1 point

I think it was 2019, I went to opening meeting with Brummies as we'd both gone up and they reported a crowd of over 1000, I also went to the Good Friday KO Cup with Brummies, baking hot and blue groove and melting free easter eggs, a local I spoke to said it was close to 1500, biggest crowd they'd had in 10 years. I tried to get tickets in 2021 for the opening meeting v Poole to go with my brother who lives in Bexhill, as we were starved of speedway and brummies opened quite late, and I remember having to get online , Brummies and Eagles used the same Ticketing platform I think Eagles had made recommendation to Peter Mason about it, and could not get one as the limit was set at 800? and they had sold out. I think all crowds were Covid restricted and segregated until July that year to advance ticket sales only (Perry Barr definitely was) so I can't see how they could have had more than the set limit anywhere, until July. It would be great to see Speedway back at Arlington but I do agree with the sentiments that it has to be on a weekend and at CL level as otherwise it'll just be set to fail and cost someone a lot of money to soothe the ego of Mr Coleman / Morris and Lemon.1 point

Maybe Workington as I’m assuming there losing Batchelor, plus Zischke and Kemp that’s 3 and possibly Max Perry who looks to selling some of his bikes.1 point

By all accounts the riders who were in the Premiership this year look to be the exact same riders in the league next year so I’m struggling to see how it’s an improvement at all1 point

The 'subject to approval' has always been there just in case any promoter used the wrong average for a particular rider OR got their team total wrong by 0.01 of a point!?😇1 point

Will is a great young rider, yes he’s a character but that’s a good thing? Speedway needs more characters as it’s bums on seats. I’m not saying he’s playing the villain part like Niki Pedersen did but even if he did? We should be building up and supporting Will Cooper Jody and even Luke. As them 4 are probably leading the charge as the future of British Speedway.1 point

Discussion between Belle Vue investor and a would be investor looking to open up a new track. I see you got rid of another of your top riders, bit harsh. We had to. Eh? Their average was over eight and we are only allowed one. Why the hell are you signing two riders with eight plus averages. One was 7.50 and the other was 3 when we signed them. Right, so you have been a part of their development. Yes. Can’t you just have a good rider off another team to replace them? No. Why? Because they don’t have any. We would need to sign a lesser rider and help with their development. Sounds good. But we would have to give them up once they reached a higher level. Not good. Don’t other tracks bring riders on in the same way. No, so we have to send them ours. Isn’t there some kind of advantage or protection for bringing on your own riders from junior level, as I know it costs you a fair amount. No, when they reach a certain level other clubs tempt them with better terms. Why don’t you outbid them? We spent the money on running a junior team. Haven’t they done the same? No, so they can use the money they saved then entice someone who has come through our junior ranks. Investor promptly exits stage left. Only in speedway.1 point

Tbf he isn't an adult yet. Got another 8 months or so! But i remember everyone used to moan about Darcy being immature when he was at Poole. Everyone grows up eventually.1 point

Cos they've signed 5 riders already, none of them over 8. Only got just over 8 points left, I think, for 2 riders so unless it's going to be 6 man teams it won't fit with an over 8 point rider.1 point
