  1. Did Poole have the customary lengthy delay whilst behind at home to try and doctor the track?
  2. Is there any need for all this track grading it seems to be taking forever!
  3. An excuse for what? Quite a few people don't bother with the Mickey Mouse cup.
  4. Foord's crashes were advantageous to Poole as their weakest rider didn't have to take 3 rides. He didn't fall off on purpose in the warm up but come on, pulling him out definitely strengthened the team. Tobias was also obviously under instruction to throw his race to keep Poole 6 points behind so they could use the tac sub in the next heat. Not sure Poole would have won without Crash Bang Foord or the tactical ef!
  5. I would think most of the Poole riders would be reluctant to lend Foord a bike given his recent propensity to crash.
  6. My thoughts exactly. Think I've been to 4 meetings this season. Not bothered about the pre season Mickey Mouse cup, no continuity in the home fixtures and the track is a pale shadow of it's former self.
  7. If you were there or watched the stream Havvy initially was wanting to use the tac sub when Poole went three points down. However he realised his mistake or got a call from Middlo and rescinded his decision to use it in a more advantageous heat, hence Thomsen's 'ef' to maintain the six point deficeit! Doh!
  8. Yes but wanted to stay 6 points behind to play the tac sub in the next heat. Doh!
  9. Quite possibly they did just wasn't shown on BSN.
  10. Just repeating what Paco said about walking out. It was on BSN tonight for all to see. Cheers.
  11. Quite a few things about it being a bad advert for the sport. Track prep, delays, the starting gate. Apparently they considered walking out mid meeting.
  12. Redcar were spoilt as Jonny Swales always prepared an excellent surface and knew the track inside out. Now he's left it's not the same but still decent.
  13. Edinburgh manager and captain making their thoughts known about last night's debacle on BSN tonight.
  14. It was bad. It was a new track but with the redesigned 3rd 4th turn there have been a few track records this season.
  15. The poor track prep and delayed meetings are the norm at Plymouth that's the problem. It happens at almost every home meeting.
  16. Better get a move on as Edinburgh are due at Poole soon.
  17. The BSPL need to get involved and see what is going on at this club. This is happening season after season and it's not a good advert for the sport.
  18. Knackered tapes now! You couldn't write this! What a joke!
  19. They just need to burn some straw on the track and it will be ok.
  20. Two heats gone and it's evident the track prep at Plymouth is poor again! Every time Plymouth is on BSN we see more tractor action than racing!
