  1. Not far off! Wolves seemed to have dropped their form a bit. Peterborough now seem the team to beat esp if they keep Hans at reserve.
  2. Masters also has had 4 efs for Wolves in last 2 meetings. I've never ever seen him retire from a race before!
  3. Sounds to me as he is staying. Wonder if he uses the same engines that he uses at Kent.
  4. SHEFFIELD co-owner Peter Mole is asking fans to back off under-performing Troy Batchelor ahead of tonight’s (Thursday) crucial clash with Ipswich at Owlerton. From British Speedway twitter

  6. Interesting, they are 'maintaining' the track. Good sign? Swindon Speedway on Twitter: " our home. Big thanks to the team at @SwindonDogs for maintaining the speedway track during our second season of inactivity. Lovely pictures from our friend @Joshsealey for next year. Have a good day, Robins https://t.co/Ce2mKDNpeA" / Twitter
  7. Is it Kent? Matches Poole's top 3 if it is!
  8. Leicester still got a bit to catch up, though 2 of them are against Glasgow!
  9. Only seen Steve try and put a positive spin on it. But yes it must have been very difficult and challenging for the riders last night. From Poole website, Danny Ford has said: 'Although happy that the Pirates came through this with a victory Poole promoter Dan Ford was disappointed that the track did pose a problem for this meeting, admitting "we can only apologise to everyone that track conditions were far from ideal and did detract from the show tonight as it wasn't the most spectacular meeting. This is an area that we are working on. At the start of the season the track was fantastic but for the past few meetings we have struggled to get it right. It is well know that we have had issues with the track for years now and we are determined to try and resolve it as soon as possible." '
  10. That's the trouble with the written word I guess, you can mean it one way and someone else takes it another. Glad it's cleared up now though.
  11. My post was still blown completely out of context! 'like he won the race' was just an example of how much cheering the crowd gave him. If I thought it was going to be completely taken the wrong way then I would have used an emoji to empathise the point, but i really didn't think it would be. Well, you attack me or the club and I defend myself
  12. Definitely wasn't being patronising! I was describing the level of applause the crowd gave him. Shame everyone took my post out of context! Phil The Ace has a problem with everything I say so hid isn't surprising. If I said it was sunny, he'd have a problem with that too. Edit - see that suggray and SS liked the original post so they get how I meant it!
  13. I will miss Eastbourne, away track I have visited the most. I will miss the time when Nicki P shouted in Rickardsson's face and Tony laughed at him. And also when Nicki was getting his 'revenge' on Tony in H15 but Middlo didn't put him in the race and was watching from the pits, as soon as Nicki realised, he was half a lap behind! Good times! Proper grudge meeting between fans too, not just riders!
  14. True but depends how it effects everyone else too! Leicester also have a few meetings in hand too though.
  15. Was that when he came third with 3 riders in the race. Didn't he fall off, get up, carry on and then when he crossed the line everyone cheered (almost standing ovation level) like he won the race!!
  16. There is such a big gap between 6th and 7th place and Plymouth have done more meetings than some other teams above them that I think they needed to win at Brum tonight to stand a chance. Also they seem to like giving the away teams a league point which will not help them at all!
  17. A couple of Poole fans moaning on Poole's twitter, saying Danny Ford should apologise for the track.
  18. Tbh though they only scraped the dirt off after a long convo with Stevie and Danny so I'm guessing that was agreed. But yes it was bad until H8 and then seemed to settle down a bit.
  19. They'll keep him now he's doing well for Kent, hoping that he brings some of the form over to Sheffield.
  20. Well that will get the police involved I suppose.
