  1. Yes he was very slow from gate 3 in the final but Sam was the best rider on the night and proved it. I like Sam Hagon, I am sure he will go far in the sport. The way he rode was like he was early in the season for Poole last year but unfortunately struggled later in the season.
  2. Luke Killeen is struggling for whatever reason at the moment so is Boughen, Sam seems to have his mojo back . At the moment Sam Hagon is better.
  3. I think he picked the wrong gate in the final and could of won with a better gate but Sam made a good pass and won, Cairns seemed to give up when he missed the gate in the final.
  4. Yes I would agree, Kerr scored 5 when he rode for Poole recently at Oxford but he should have a much better meeting for Sheffield after his 16 at Kings Lynn. Kildermand at reserve though is a big plus for Oxford so expect it to be close.
  5. I meant riding together at reserve as Starke has loads of experience, whoever is in your crew you should always be open to advice from other riders especially at his age.
  6. Never said I wanted change, just that certain riders need to improve, like it or not this is the team, seems like Kerr has improved, Tobias will be ok I am sure, we could/should have had Vinnie but we have Starke who could be a help to Cairns at reserve when he comes in.
  7. Ok well 10 is a decent score really, would not expect anymore at an away track
  8. I mentioned him on the Poole thread. Rowe was poor too which is also strange as he has been going well lately and usually goes well at Kings Lynn so basically Kerr made up for their shortcomings, they certainly can not afford off nights later in the season. Unfortunately the top 3 is already a done deal.
  9. I am afraid Sedgeman is not good enough at this level, Pickering was poor which is strange as he is usually good at Kings Lynn probably equipment issues.
  10. I did not mention Berwick but it is a track he used to ride every week, 5 away at Oxford is very poor for your second heat leader as is a couple of his home scores. He is a 8 point rider not a 6 pointer but as I said last night his score was much improved as he has had a couple of bad scores for Sheffield too.
  11. I also thought Kerr wasn't a great signing but if he could reproduce last nights scores that would be brilliant. All riders have off nights but it was beginning to be a worry.
  12. I said that earlier, Stead was meant to know what he is doing, did not cost you in the end but it could have.
  13. Away to Oxford he was pretty bad too!
  14. Anders score wasnt good last night but Toby will come good and Zach did ok at Belle Vue last night.
  15. From what I have seen it was not only machinery issues but apparently his gating was fantastic last night which is crucial at many tracks but imperative at Kings Lynn.
  16. I would imagine there are many fans disappointed with Kerr's early season form but hopefully the form he showed tonight can be reproduced on a regular basis.
  17. he is out celebrating Kerr's turnaround in form.
  18. No Anders poor and he is usually good at Kings Lynn, why they didnt put Kerr in heat 14 is a mystery.
  19. Lewis Kerr on fire tonight at Kings Lynn, hope he continues that form for the Pirates.
  20. Oxford v Poole this season looked out of control in most of his races but he wasnt at fault in the race DT got injured in my view.
  21. And if he was forced to ride and just trundled round at the back he would get slated so if a rider doesnt want to ride for you, the best option is to let them go.
  22. Sam was a deserving winner especially having had to battle from the back in the semi and the final, the format means you can have a bad ride and still win which is a fair way of doing it in my view.
  23. It would be dangerous to dismiss anyone at this stage of the season, there are riders not riding well and some that are but it would not be unusual for team changes to be made if it continued for too long. Glasgow are probably favourites with their current top end.
  24. No you cannot win every meeting and we know that. Lawson is flying and the main reason we kept it close. We dont have any divine right to beat anyone but I still think this team is capable of winning the play offs, certain riders need to be better but come the play offs they will be I am sure and we will still be the team to beat, that does not mean we will win but we have as good a chance as everyone else in the league.
