Workington v Redcar 02/05/26 6pm BSN series
foreverblue replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Workington going to struggle with that team, Howarth good guest, no surprise Cook unavailable! -
Coopers average is still 2.00 on latest figures as he hasnt ridden enough meetings yet. Total current team average on official website is 40.47. Gilkes average is nearly a point lower than Bowes so we could re-declare or swap rider for rider.

Yes I agree not under motive power but I thought the rule was under power and Kerr's engine was still running, depends on interpretation of the rule. It may not have changed the destination of the bonus point as it was early in the meeting and tactical changes may have come in to play, like not risking putting Bowes out in heat 14.

Enjoyable meeting with plenty of talking points. Bowes should not have been excluded for laying his bike down to avoid Kerr, Kerr should have been excluded as primary cause. Kyle was excellent and I would keep him, he is Poole at heart and always gives his best for us, he should have been given heat 15 with the meeting already won. Bowes seems to have been signed on one excellent meeting last season, tonight he was awful as he was at Oxford. Lawson on the other hand was brilliant.

I hope so he is a nice guy and has Poole in his heart, shame we cant keep him.

Jamie was clearly out of his depth, Max is not out of his depth and he should improve as the season progresses.

Stars vs Tigers - Prem - Monday 27th April

No I don't think so,you will just have to attend. If you can't there is always speedway updates. -
Personally I think Plymouth are doing a good job most of the time, it looked a decent crowd because it was, yes it is smaller than most but usually produces more passing than last night. The good thing about speedway in this country is the variety of tracks, doesnt mean the racing is poor or not enjoyable because it is a small track. You mentioned Peterborough which was a great track that seems to be lost now and unfortunately it is highly unlikely there will never be anyone watching speedway from the grandstand in the future.

Isn't Cami moaning about the track yet?

Oxford V Poole 15/4/26 BSN 1st leg

Its never boring when you win. I realise losing an entertaining meeting can be enjoyable but sport is about winning. Crowds do not turn up for teams that lose every week. -

But he didnt even beat PHB in one race or Kvech who also had a terrible night. Cant help thinking he must have had mechanical issues. -

I would say the end justifies the means. -

We would not have won the title if we had prepared the track to the liking of the Glasgow riders. We only smoked Harris and Howarth in the super heat when the track had changed. Harris was unbeaten up to that point.
