Workington v Plymouth 09/05/26 3 pm Championship.

Exactly, these days you should be grateful you have a team to support, a couple of home defeats early in the season is not season ending. The list of teams that are closed is very large, to avoid being the next one is paramount. I went to Oxford a couple of weeks ago and heard someone say it was the last meeting but thankfully that wasnt the case. -
Maybe time bring a ringer in, like Glasgow have done in recent seasons.

In my view Cooper turned left but probably more that he meant to, realising this Luke tried to avoid him but could not. To castigate him and calling for a ban is way over the top, I am sure Rob Lyon has had a word with him and he will learn from his mistake.

Lidsey has been so poor as has Batch

Sometimes weather dictates as does the opposition, it was a very one sided contest as born out by the score.Klindt was terrific no one else turned up. Allen was his normal self at Wimborne Road, the rest were awful. Lawson did not gate in one race but had little trouble passing both bears before the 3rd bend. Ace was his usual self moaning about his fall, never his fault.

I agree, Lambert has been shown too much loyalty. Poole have never been a club to keep an underperforming rider, we just got lucky with Newman, he has come in and done a job way above expectations, the form he is in he would have been picked up by someone else. It would have been crazy not to keep him. We all wish Dan Gilkes the best of luck this season with his respective clubs.

Exactly and if you look at what Gilkes said, he was disappointed but understood the reasoning. The facts are he was not fit at the start of the season, he has spent a lot of time and money trying to get fit but he turned up for his first meeting and scored one point so he clearly is not ready yet. From a Poole point of view, we got in a rider to cover for his absence who did very well, this rider is a Pirate through and through who has always given his all for us, to dump him for a not yet fit rider would be stupid. I feel sorry for Dan Gilkes but this is a sensible decision.

Kyle at reserve will be terrific, I am so pleased he is staying, always liked him, always gives his best for us.
-
Fair point, we need to see how he goes in his next meetings, apparently guesting for Workington, see how that goes in what should be easier than riding at Leicester.
-
Definitely need to keep Kyle, maybe replace Bowes with someone who could score a few points.
-
Isnt he still under 28 day rule
-
Only if Poole release him.

I dont think so.
