  1. Not bad losers, refs are inconsistent, sometimes its in your favour tonight it wasnt in our favour. We will progress to the next round, Harris is always good value at Poole so that will be fun.
  2. Ref's being inconsistent, who would have thought that would happen!!
  3. The track wasnt awful just gate 4 was a graveyard, Tobias was terrific apart from his gate 4 ride, Rowe was good too until he had gate 4, Lawson was good too apart from his gate 4 ride. Zach, Kerr and Starke were all poor again.
  4. Yes awful but 8 points is ok, another bad night for Kerr and Zach.
  5. Harris penalises himself and gets s re-run!! Then of course gates in the re-run.
  6. Squeaky bum time! I think we should win easily over two legs although not expecting to win tonight.
  7. Yes I like him, has a good future in my opinion but needs to take time not rush things.
  8. Harrison is great at his home track not so good away from home.
  9. Yes agree with that, Boughen was having a difficult time in the championship too, sometimes when in front he looks fast and he has had the odd decent meeting.Flint has looked better this season, even last night despite suffering with a cold he was better than Kerr. Anders was pretty decent too. Killeen too is struggling. Maybe a little time out of the firing line will do them good.
  10. It is the same with most individual meetings, its all about qualifying for the final stages, Dan Thompson was the best rider in the meeting and most likely would have won without injury. I thought Sam deserved it as he came from the back to qualify for the final and also in the final to win it.
  11. Sam won it the way most win individual meetings, the key to these meetings is being the best when it matters, all that matters is getting enough points to qualify for the semi final or final, in fact it is often beneficial to be in the semi final rather that qualify straight to the final. I would say considering his relatively high average and the fact his form tailed off at the end of last season that it would have been a big risk to try to fit him in the Poole team.
  12. I did think a guest would have been better than r/r and maybe next time get a guest.
  13. Yes Sam rode well for Poole at start of season but went off form, he seems to be riding better now. Zach rode well last night but Kerr didnt. Killeen was awful, no idea what is wrong with him.
  14. It is very hard to replace a rider of Doyles calibre, r/r only works if the other 6 all perform well, if as was the case tonight other riders are off form a little then it becomes even harder and makes you vunerable, the best solution is a guest and I don't know why one wasnt used.
  15. Yes he was very slow from gate 3 in the final but Sam was the best rider on the night and proved it. I like Sam Hagon, I am sure he will go far in the sport. The way he rode was like he was early in the season for Poole last year but unfortunately struggled later in the season.
  16. Luke Killeen is struggling for whatever reason at the moment so is Boughen, Sam seems to have his mojo back . At the moment Sam Hagon is better.
  17. I think he picked the wrong gate in the final and could of won with a better gate but Sam made a good pass and won, Cairns seemed to give up when he missed the gate in the final.
  18. Yes I would agree, Kerr scored 5 when he rode for Poole recently at Oxford but he should have a much better meeting for Sheffield after his 16 at Kings Lynn. Kildermand at reserve though is a big plus for Oxford so expect it to be close.
  19. I meant riding together at reserve as Starke has loads of experience, whoever is in your crew you should always be open to advice from other riders especially at his age.
