But typical of his professionalism it seems.
-
And so it starts.

The money issue is nonsense, considering Woffy was coming until he was slapped with a ridiculous reassessed 9 point average. I love how people are trying to write Jacob off after one meeting. Made I titter tho.
-
I assumed the same too, haven't seen that has been changed.
-
Nothing wrong with Pearson and Tatum on TV. Much prefer there exuberance.

Everyone is entitled to a social life or personal life. When you are a professional sportsperson or in the public eye it's likely that others will comment on what you do. It's part and parcel of being judged as a professional.

Section 16 says 'assessed' riders need 4H & 4A. No mention of existing riders. No mention of this in section 16.
-
It would appear only Poole can sign riders on their old averages so yes its possible only for one club.
-
I'm quoting only the words of CVS and Adams. Promoters who would appear switched on to the rules. Woffy was confirmed as one of the riders targeted for 2018 and was 'interested'. Money no doubt would have been an issue, the biggest issue being he was saddled with a 9 point average. Complete nonsense, the fact you keep mentioning this as gospel proves your knowledge is lacking. Piotr was as good as confirmed by Poole until the 9 point 'rule', Woffy was mentioned in November by CVS and again confirmed as 'interested' at this week's talk in at Wolves. Zagar was as every bit likely or less likely as the other 2 going on your own opinion. Someone has a 'let's penalise only Belle Vue' complex that is way far from the truth. Those in power have tried to stop Wolves since we won the league in 2016, firstly the 2017 ruling on deadline date change to stop riders signing for the play offs as a direct response to Woffy coming back in 2016 and low and behold Wolves have 2 class riders on a low 7 that suddenly get saddled with a 9. It's easy to figure who they are trying to halt. Definitely not Belle Vue.
-
So why we're Wolves and Belle Vue, and Poole presumably told that Zagar, Piotr and Woffy were reassessed to 9 when they were planning to be used on their old averages from 2014-2016? Seemingly what was a rule suddenly no longer applies. Yes folks, you really cannot make some of this stuff up.
-
We don't know who applies. Nothing has been released. Unless you have the link to confirm it of course.
-
Your opinion may be right or wrong. We just don't know. As for the ruling on the 9 point reassessed after a year tho is more readily available. Has been quoted several times in interviews in the speedway star and on social media that the reassessed rule has stopped riders like Piotr, Zagar and Woffy coming back who seemed set to because of that ruling. CVS mentioned it at a talk in in November and wax reiterated again on Tuesday. Woffy was interested in coming back, we know Zagar was looking to rejoin the Aces whilst Piotr had asked Wolves to circulate his name with a supposed 'done deal' to join Poole. It's not so much debate as a known thing.

Can you point me to any part of my comment where I have slagged Poole off??? Answer , you won't find it so stop with the tired and well worn replies and attempts to make it into a Poole hating witchhunt. I'm slating the BSPA FFS You really can't help yourself can you???
-
Good reply. That's part of the problem. It's the BSPA's fault. No one knows what criteria they are using to make this change happen. We have no idea if it's a perfectly legitimate loophole or not!!!! But yet again if you don't clarify the rules for ALL of course there are going to be loopholes to use. I couldn't care who it is. Fans want fairness and transparency for all.
-
He will be the first person outside the BSPA who has! That's the trouble, they have given no qualifying criteria. 2017? 2018? One or both? Have ridden in a GP or qualified for one? Any rider that's ridden more than a quarter of the years GP series is technically good enough to be classed a GP standard rider IMHO. This is part of the problem. You are quoting a rule that hasn't been released fully to the public. So in truth we don't know what constitutes a GP rider. Yet again the failure on clarity of rules is allowing this loophole to be explored. Killer IS a GP rider in 2017 because he rode 9 of the 12 rounds. You won't find any published ruling that backs up your case. We are all assuming Killer doesn't apply because he isn't classed as a GP rider. Could be right or wrong. The BSPA may have allowed Poole to use his now outdated average because it's cover and temporary for a few weeks. Could be wrong could be right. There is no black and white answer to why this has been allowed. Only those of us trying to guess the logic because the ruling won't back it up! Peterborough have already had the first call off of the year with the Ben Fund.
-
What we do know tho is if any other team had signed Kildemand on a low 7 Shov would be shouting cheating as loud as you like.
-
Just have to agree to disagree on this one then.
-
Because they seem to make up the rules and change them to suit when they want to. Could be any reason tho.
-
Started as reserve then elevated into the series full time. If he had become World Champion I'd assume your point would be the same?
-
9 rounds ridden proves different.
-
Absolutely disagree. Any rider that rode 9 of the 12 rounds is by any definition a 2017 GP rider. He may well have started the season as first reserve however became a full time rider due to injuries of others. It's a disgraceful technicality to say that because he started as a reserve is a legit argument. Don't buy that at all.

Charity Shield 2nd leg 22/03/18 Swindon - Belle Vue

And I think you'd struggle to find anyone that would disagree with you either! -
Good to hear the restaging date for the Poole match is 23rd April
-
Absolutely official. Just not towards averages. I meant to use the term 'redeclare' loosely. And of course you are absolutely correct. Totally inconsistent interpretations of the same rule, dependant on any day and whoever asks. The minute they reassessed some (well just 3 we know) and let some stay on an average after saying if you miss a season then you need reassessing was doomed to failure as soon as they picked and chose who applied. As usual a complete mess up.
