That's just for assessed riders tho according to SCB rulebook. 16.2.1.6 Could be anything for established riders. Clegg only did 4 for Wolves and still got a new average. Ruling could be anything as they change them to suit.

Poole V Wolves SGB PREM A. 4th April 2018
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The first of many Poole wins this season. If any team can restrict the Pirates from getting 50 points in any match they will have done very well. Let's hope for no mysterious engine failures or issues from ANY team this early part of the season who are looking to fudge averages to bring any ringers in tho. -
You mentioned that Poole were meant to be at Wolves on Monday but you mentioned after the 26th had already gone. Certainly that's the way it read to me and others!

Prem admission price list 2018.

Certainly wouldn't be British ones. -
Couldn't agree more. There are NL teams with professional team suits. All very embarrassing to have the so called best team looking like a 2nd hand rag-tag and bobtail outfit. Poor.
-
You weren't scheduled there at all on Monday, it was always Belle Vue. Poole were due Monday just gone. Completely different day.
-
Exactly, that's ALL that is required.
-
He won't be the first rider caught out either. Look at Holder
-
If was an 'apparent done deal' until he was stopped with a new 9 point average. Seems to have been the worst kept winter secret. Oops. ... can't be right as Shovlar don't believe if was ever a rule.
-
Seems with anything that the ruling body do it might or might not be a rule and probably forced thru by the minority. Anything seems to make no sense with anything they touch, I'm at the point where I'm ready to give up trying to bother.

You can be sure if a ruling went in favour of another team Shov and Co would be all over it and moaning all season long. However when it's Poole it's no problem. I abhor the lack of transparency from our governing body and it's yet another season of 'it's a rule, it's not a rule, it might be a rule, we might use it as a rule if someone asks'. Couldn't care less what team it is, it's ruining the sport. And NO it's not anti Poole.

Depends who you believe. I see no reason why any promoter would lie. Why did Zagar and Woffy say that were coming back but said that 9 point reassessed average meant they couldn't. Riders lying as well I suppose.

Premiership - Swindon v Leicester - 29-03-18

Home win by 10. -
Possibly, ditto Hancock, Nicki P, Iversen, Freddie. It's definitely how you bounce back that's true.
-
Yes I think so too, but you have to have a back up plan just in case.
-
Wolves could re declare and bring Woffy in place of Jacob if he struggles and use the points to strengthen at reserve. Woffy would return to his low 7 average, which is no different to what Poole have done to fit Kildemand in. Jacob will have time to prove himself and I think he will be fine anyway.
-
It's his first meeting in a fairly good standard line up. I'm sure he will be okay. Either way we have Woffy and Piotr waiting in the wings if it's an issue, using the Poole/Kildemand example.
-
But typical of his professionalism it seems.
-
And so it starts.
-
The money issue is nonsense, considering Woffy was coming until he was slapped with a ridiculous reassessed 9 point average. I love how people are trying to write Jacob off after one meeting. Made I titter tho.
-
I assumed the same too, haven't seen that has been changed.

Nothing wrong with Pearson and Tatum on TV. Much prefer there exuberance.

Everyone is entitled to a social life or personal life. When you are a professional sportsperson or in the public eye it's likely that others will comment on what you do. It's part and parcel of being judged as a professional.
