  1. Good to hear the restaging date for the Poole match is 23rd April
  2. Absolutely official. Just not towards averages. I meant to use the term 'redeclare' loosely. And of course you are absolutely correct. Totally inconsistent interpretations of the same rule, dependant on any day and whoever asks. The minute they reassessed some (well just 3 we know) and let some stay on an average after saying if you miss a season then you need reassessing was doomed to failure as soon as they picked and chose who applied. As usual a complete mess up.
  3. And if Chris is missing no official meetings there is no need to declare tho? FWIW I can see Killer being here longer than a few weeks.
  4. Yes they did have to cancel it if there was no chance of practising before Monday. Poole have done the right thing agreeing to cancel. Wolves would have done the same if it was at Poole. There is no need to sign any one if Chris won't miss an 'official' fixture. Just don't get that at all.
  5. Then it makes even less sense. If he isn't missing league matches (which I doubt in all honesty) then RR should be operated. MF isn't helping Wolves out at all. Press and Practise is vital for ALL teams. Poole would have done exactly the same thing if there P&P was called off too. Wolves would have agreed to cancel if the match was at Wimborne road because of how important the press day is.
  6. Both were likely coming back, no less or more likely than Zagar. Piotr asked for his name to be circulated if Wolves couldn't fit him in. Poole fans believed he was already a dead cert. Woffy certainly was in consideration at Wolves and spoken to CVS. The ruling was to ensure wolves couldn't build a super team.
  7. CVS confirmed it at the Wolves talk in in November. Any new rider to GB league from GP's are 8. I agree there is no consistency whatsoever.
  8. So what happened to the ruling that GP riders and those who didn't ride here in 2017 are reassessed to a 9 then?? It's known that Piotr Pawlicki, Woffy (wolves assets) and Zagar (Aces) were looking at coming back only to be slapped with a 9 average. Only Iversen of those you name had an average over 8 so it would seem you are saying selected riders can keep an outdated average whilst others can't which by any definition is grossly unfair.
  9. Didn't he ride in the vast majority of GP's in 2017??? The ruling seems to be any GP rider of 2017/2018 because Piotr (not in GP's this year) is a 9. He didn't ride here in 2017 either, another qualifying criteria. Blinkered and blind beyond belief. I'm not sure it's a grey area at all. He rode several GP's in 2017 and didn't ride here in 2017 either. Both those criterias have prevented Piotr, Woffy and Zagar from riding here this year on there low 7 averages also. It's a short term thing so that's the only logical reason it's been allowed. However it doesn't stop the fact that Killer shouldn't be allowed to use his old average tho. More like targeting Wolverhampton.
  10. Am I reading it right that Kildemand is a temporary replacement for Holder???? How on earth is that legal or even possible. Kildemand is by any definition a GP rider from 2017 by the amount of GP's he appeared in and all this nonsense that he was a reserve is total bull. He is an assessed 9 like Woffy, Piotr and Zagar no question. He therefore cannot replace a rider on a 7. Anything else is a total disgrace if this is allowed to happen. How many ringers are Poole trying to assemble?? Huge embarrassment to the sport if this is sanctioned.
  11. Press release just says Ben left 'by mutual agreement of both parties'. Still seems odd tho.
  12. That's true, though he has to earn a living to help pay the bills??
  13. Likewise me too. Very naturally gifted. However commitment and dedication appear to be 2 vital components he struggles with (including last season's quick fire reaction to wanting out of the Championship). I wish the lad well whatever he does however he is never to go progress further than he is without applying himself better to his chosen profession. Not read any comments as to why tho so just hope I'm not being harsh on the lad.
  14. Read the topic on team suits before you embarrass yourself any further if you really think I'm the only one saying it. I think your post perfectly sums up the phrase 'think before you speak'. Thanks for yet another priceless moment, the gift that often keeps giving.
  15. Embarrassing having any side in a league that's meant to be using professional team suits to convey a professional look. Each to their own I guess.
  16. Refs are the problem for being too lenient, riders take equal guilt for ignoring the orders of the start Marshall.
  17. Well that's the rule isn't it?? The simplest and easiest thing to do have done would be to ensure ALL tracks have a 2 minute clock by the start line so the ref, riders and fans know how long is left. Riders can do what they like till then. That would have been a very simple rule to enforce.
  18. Some riders do more gardening than others. I've seen certain riders arrive at the tapes with little time to spare suddenly want to dig as well and the start Marshall have to signal them to hurry up. As previously stated clocks need to be on all centre greens so there can be no extra time allowed.
  19. It's essentially the same rule, just enforcing the staying on the bikes to do so. I think some refs are lenient when there isn't a clock on centre green.
  20. If they are still gardening they aren't ready to race, simples.
  21. The rule is a good thing. It's just a case of the riders getting into the habit of staying ON their bikes at the start line. In saying that, ALL tracks should have a 2 minute clock on track.
  22. I can understand if he was on stand by for Bates at Leicester.
  23. He has saved plenty by ensuring his team look will look like the Poundland Pirates
