  1. That's true, though he has to earn a living to help pay the bills??
  2. Likewise me too. Very naturally gifted. However commitment and dedication appear to be 2 vital components he struggles with (including last season's quick fire reaction to wanting out of the Championship). I wish the lad well whatever he does however he is never to go progress further than he is without applying himself better to his chosen profession. Not read any comments as to why tho so just hope I'm not being harsh on the lad.
  3. Read the topic on team suits before you embarrass yourself any further if you really think I'm the only one saying it. I think your post perfectly sums up the phrase 'think before you speak'. Thanks for yet another priceless moment, the gift that often keeps giving.
  4. Embarrassing having any side in a league that's meant to be using professional team suits to convey a professional look. Each to their own I guess.
  5. Refs are the problem for being too lenient, riders take equal guilt for ignoring the orders of the start Marshall.
  6. Well that's the rule isn't it?? The simplest and easiest thing to do have done would be to ensure ALL tracks have a 2 minute clock by the start line so the ref, riders and fans know how long is left. Riders can do what they like till then. That would have been a very simple rule to enforce.
  7. Some riders do more gardening than others. I've seen certain riders arrive at the tapes with little time to spare suddenly want to dig as well and the start Marshall have to signal them to hurry up. As previously stated clocks need to be on all centre greens so there can be no extra time allowed.
  8. It's essentially the same rule, just enforcing the staying on the bikes to do so. I think some refs are lenient when there isn't a clock on centre green.
  9. If they are still gardening they aren't ready to race, simples.
  10. The rule is a good thing. It's just a case of the riders getting into the habit of staying ON their bikes at the start line. In saying that, ALL tracks should have a 2 minute clock on track.
  11. I can understand if he was on stand by for Bates at Leicester.
  12. He has saved plenty by ensuring his team look will look like the Poundland Pirates
  13. Plus that's down to the team managers to pass on to. Both were dreadful on the new ruling tonight and no lessons learned throughout.
  14. So much hype about Aussie champ Tungate in the close season, as usual fails to deliver. Aces fans better hope he isn't starting 2018 like he did 2017. First meetings gremlins out the way for those expecting better things. Good to see Stevie scoring big. Hope he has a big year.
  15. MF and other promotions were able to use outdated lists whilst Wolves and Belle Vue weren't allowed to play by those same rules. So some teams are already a head start of others. Poole getting another advantage then. Poor way to treat a club asset, but it's not unusual tho is it really?
  16. MF only wants him when he is on a low average. Good on Kyle for staying with Leicester who supported and stuck by him last year. I'd be shocked if Kyle ever went back, I bet even he has lost count the amount of times they have let him down.
  17. Woryna beat Lindgren 2 seasons ago at Monmore.
  18. With the team you have you should be running riot home and away.
  19. So which one is it. Should we fear you or do you expect to be beat?? You have to laugh when someone forgets about bragging and then gets a reality check.
  20. Fully agree. If Newman was ever going to achieve anything like that level in the top flight he would be dominating in the 2nd tier by now. In fact the last season's he has dropped year on year in the 2nd division. 6.84 (2015), 6.31 (2016), 6.10 (2017). A good reserve , and pretty poor second string in the top flight. That's pretty much his level. No doubt he had ambitions much higher than that and injuries have halted process but not to the level of top flight heat leader. I don't. I will be waiting to mock you if you fail.
  21. Perfect reason why team suits work well. Very professional. Tons better than the poundland use your own approach of some.
  22. As Poole are the overwhelming favourites everyone will be laughing when you get your first defeat and the excuses start coming out. Oh we will laugh. I'm sure you won't take seriously either.
  23. As previously stated. It's agreed by both parties. Don't believe any of the nonsense some are saying that we are 'running scared'. Pure tripe. Best to face ANY team early on as riders are still adjusting to track conditions particularly if you have riders who haven't ridden here for a while.
