  1. So it will be off even tho it will be dry in Poole.
  2. Won't be holding my breath. We have heard every year that track work has meant to have taken place but is still like a motorcross track. Jury definitely out. Just ask Shovlar, he tells everyone in any part of the country what the weather is doing. However sadly he is usually 100% wrong.
  3. The terrible stench of precedents was set when Poole called off a match against Lakeside a few seasons ago because of 'potential to damage ones business' all because you were missing riders. No precedent has stunk as much since. Calling off matches days in advance is wrong although it would appear a necessary evil for some although why this is going to entice anyway to bother travelling to watch the sport is beyond me. No wonder crowds are down. The forecast for the whole of easter was dreadful in all areas so it's no wonder 19 matches got called off. If you really believe the forecast was 'reasonably promising' you most certainly are the only one reading it that way. So probably an early call off for Wednesday at the motorcross track then. Your predicting skills are dreadful.
  4. Not proven yet, you ain't had a meeting on it. Still, if Shovlar says it's on it must mean it will be off, considering how poor his weather predictions are. You can't brag about a track that's held no action yet anyway.
  5. You have already been proved wrong by people who live in the Wolverhampton and Midlands area. Hope that helps. Didn't realise 4.45 wasn't daytime. its been proven by people in the area that you are wrong, again. It's amazing that you would want anyone to believe that whilst the rest of the country has had speedway call offs decimating meetings yet Wolverhampton is the only area that didn't suffer. Plum and prize seem to sum your opinion up totally. But then only you would disagree with people who live in the area. Poole will probably have yet another call off I guess. What will that be 3 or 4 by then?
  6. Yes, back to what is important. Rain all night and all morning and more rain tonight. Absolutely correct call. Don't you love it when someone the other side of the country tells the locals what the weather is today. I'm sure you must be related to Michael Fish. At least it's giving the forum some light relief tonight.
  7. Troll post 3. Anyone would think Poole have had run several successful meetings by now, how many call offs Steve?? Tho with the motocross track you have its no surprise. Still no reply to the reason why 100% of all meetings were off today tho, no surprise. Apparently Wolves can do the impossible. It's given me a titter tho.
  8. It surfaced after the Wolves talk in in November.
  9. Peter Adams went. Ard you suggesting he lied to CVS?
  10. Hear that Shovlar? No excuses for not getting the track ready seeing as you are such an expert on track prep and weather conditions. Fingers crossed fans get to finally see some racing!
  11. Stop lying. It's not been 'dry all day'. Heavy rain all night and morning did the damage. Pathetic troll post 2. Count how many tracks had call offs today when it's the South and Midlands that have had the worst of it.
  12. Damage was done the weekend and heavy rain all night and morning. It is one the best prepared track, the awards say so. There is a reason why just 2 fixtures out of 21 Friday - Monday have run. The dreadful weather. Now stop trolling it's not even clever.
  13. And CVS knows the truth. One of them is either lying or both are unclear if it's a rule of not. So there is no such thing as 'the truth'.
  14. I most certainly will not, it's unimportant to me who it affects or benefits. How you can have a rider on his old average who rode in 9 GP's whilst others are saddled with a 9??? Just disgraceful. It's the BSPA who are at fault here not one club. That's why I'm going on about it, transparency is the only thing most speedway fans. I couldn't care less which thread it is on. The BSPA have completely messed up the rules on averages yet again. You are wrong, he didn't ride in Britain in 2017. Care to quote the truthful story?? All I've seen and heard are posts from a former promoter saying no such rules existed whilst 2 others have spoken out saying there was. There is no truthful story. Just opinions. Of course if you can quote me this story then I'm only happy to read it.
  15. Although they didn't mention how he was allowed to ride on his outdated average!
  16. Any thoughts on these matches? Will weather win the day? Home wins for both clubs . 10 at Aces, 6 for Wolves. WOLVERHAMPTON: Jacob Thorssell, Kyle Howarth, Cameron Heeps, Rory Schlein, Sam Masters, Nathan Greaves, Ashley Morris. BELLE VUE: Craig Cook, Steve Worrall, Paul Starke, Rohan Tungate, Max Fricke, Jye Etheridge, Dan Bewley
  17. That's correct, no club named. All clubs accused. Glad that's cleared up.
  18. That's just for assessed riders tho according to SCB rulebook. 16.2.1.6 Could be anything for established riders. Clegg only did 4 for Wolves and still got a new average. Ruling could be anything as they change them to suit.
  19. The first of many Poole wins this season. If any team can restrict the Pirates from getting 50 points in any match they will have done very well. Let's hope for no mysterious engine failures or issues from ANY team this early part of the season who are looking to fudge averages to bring any ringers in tho.
  20. You mentioned that Poole were meant to be at Wolves on Monday but you mentioned after the 26th had already gone. Certainly that's the way it read to me and others!
