  1. Steve, it isn't fact. They have applied to join the NL and their AGM isn't this weekend. One assumes they will get accepted.
  2. I can't believe some are expecting news during a meeting! ! Crazy!!
  3. Why would it? A statement usually comes out on the Monday or Tuesday. That's how it's been for years.
  4. Are people still thinking Greg will ride over here? Not a chance. He couldn't give a fig leaf about the British leagues.
  5. In fairness the AGM is happening this weekend. I'm not sure any news needs updating until everything has been discussed.
  6. It's been that way for a while tho but yea it can be a frustrating process seeing who fits into the points limit.
  7. It's simply called SP speedway programme! https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details%3Fid%3Dpl.krygiel.speedway.programme%26hl%3Den_GB%26referrer%3Dutm_source%253Dgoogle%2526utm_medium%253Dorganic%2526utm_term%253Dsp%2Bspeedway%2Bprogramme%2Bapp%26pcampaignid%3DAPPU_1_W90OWp6KFMPfauX_hfAC&ved=0ahUKEwjeo4uJ1cXXAhXDrxoKHeV_AS4Q8oQBCB0wAA&usg=AOvVaw1osHD--jbgsHzal2GUBXRX
  8. Auty has been dropping while Kyle has been adding to his average. I suppose that makes him a risk but if it was for a place in the main team I'd go with Kyle every time. Auty has barely been out the reserve berth! Plus we are comparing a main team rider/average with a reserve/rider average. Not even a fair consideration. Anyone that has over 6 points to play with would be mad to use Auty on his much lower average!!
  9. Have an App I downloaded from play store that's brilliant, free too. English.
  10. Sometimes it's just about belief and motivation. I remember seeing Woffy pre season 2013 and you could tell and see that it was going to be his year.Doyle and Woffy are very much the type of riders that prove if you work hard enough there is the likelihood you will achieve. Something definitely changed with Kyle this season, hopefully that isn't his peak.
  11. Of course it's only about opinion! I'm certainly not going to fall out with you because we see things different. It's been quite a few seasons since Auty was anything like a force in the 2nd tier and appears on the decline. He certainly hasn't had much look in his formative years in the top flight and injuries may have halted his progress. However that's similar to Kyle who was messed about by Poole early on and seemed to be in and out of favour in the top flight but the draft system has certainly seen him take advantage of that. Kyle is fine away, way better than Auty as it happens! I'm not really interested what riders do individually it's what they do for their teams which is more important and I'd rather have a rider scoring consistently for his teams than doing well in the one competition. I guess I'm more than happy for Kyle to be back next year and I'm sure you will be happy if you sign Auty as well!
  12. Kyle I don't think was lucky to get a place on his average at all last year! Let's face it he more than earned it at both levels this year. Much improved and progressing nicely this year in what must be a bit of a break thru season for him. Think its no coincidence that Kyle finished in both teams that won the lower division title and finished 2nd in the top flight whilst Auty featured in both teams that were bottom but one. I suppose it comes down to which you prefer.
  13. Auty is virtually a last minute placement in my eyes. Hasn't improved in years and even in reserve seems to score minimal points. One of the most highly overrated British riders of recent years. There are likely to be better options. Col is a known Auty admirer so is probably biased. He even suggested that Howarth will never be as good as Auty.
  14. Meetings I've watched at Wolves and other tracks seem to follow the 4 heats grade, then every 3. That is needed. The start time and presentation should be clearer tho. Advertising as "tapes up 7.30" is false advertising particularly if it's parade at 7.30 and 1st race at 7.45. Most people can be in by 7.30 so I see no reason why racing can't start then with parade at 7.20. Personal preference.
  15. It's lost while BE are involved anyway. Why can't the campaign group still carry on? The aim surely is to get speedway back at Brandon or in Coventry? ?
  16. Cradley have used Monmore to keep their great name alive. Surely that's the point?? If Bees fans don't attend you may as well forget about any hope of any continued racing for the club. Surely this is great news for any Bees fan?
  17. There was never a chance he was coming anyway.
  18. He is on a bargain average of 4.64. Although I think he won't even match that. Can't think of a more overrated rider in recent years. That's his level.
  19. Which is what I said. The unrealistic averages where amended with totally unrealistic ones!
  20. I think any rider who has a complete season out of the UK leagues needs to be reassessed for fairness. Sundstrom is a better rider than last time he was here, that's for sure. He would make a weak number one however IMHO.
  21. The start of the season all the top riders has their averages amended to a higher figure. There is no guarantee any rider racing in the top flight in 2018 will start on their last attained average.
