  1. Sacked on 2 different occasions by Coventry as well. It's clear he has poor attitude over in our top flight league. Any team that signs him is taking a risk year after year. It just depends what KK decides to turn up at any one time. One thing we can finally put to bed is that he always ups his game for Poole. He doesn't.
  2. with sensible posters there is a chance I might. You're never right lol
  3. I don't agree. You don't win the U19 title by beating 'highly rated Poles if you aren't talented. Highly impressive young rider, so all good news for GB.
  4. thanks for an insightful view of the track from the riders who actually rode it. Has to make you laugh when you get certain posters calling tracks a 'horror' just because a rider falls off. Some clearly no nothing and make themselves look foolish when they weren't even there! Birmingham have and do so number 8's haven't been consigned by all clubs.
  5. No issue. It's nice to see such an ex fan so vocal this evening.
  6. It's not. No MPT, no number 8 cover in the first match. Lambert and THJ struggling for fitness and neither appear in 2nd match. How much more of a gift can we receive??
  7. 8 big points heading the way of our play off position. We can only beat what we are presented with but the Stars have gifted us the points tonight.
  8. Seems like they are altered to suit any league to suit. Will try and find out which match it was.
  9. I've got to say what a dull and depressing BT meeting in front of a huge crowd. Great promotion, awful platform on track. Really? ? I've seen meetings in the NL where they have swapped riders!
  10. Perfectly fine. Medically he is unable to fly due to his surgery.
  11. No worries. Both Poles are excellent talents for the future. Likewise Robert. Results prove those points.
  12. Congratulations to Craig, never expected a 4th place finish so all being well will be in the GP 2018. At least Woffy can show him how to be a proper British winner.
  13. Smektala only finished 3rd and Kubera 4th. Lambert is doing just fine.
  14. Lambert has just won the U19 Championship. Didn't he beat some of those highly rated Poles? Just saying.
  15. They have messed the averages up big time for several seasons now. This season they messed up with those ridiculously converted averages over 12. Otherwise the principle of what they were trying to achieve seemed logical and promising. Sadly that's when it goes wrong. Having then allowed riders to achieve 'real' averages (good in my book) they messed up with trying to get everyone on a real average at the same time even reassessing some riders who didn't fit the 4H 4A criteria. (Another mistake). And that's when things got really messed up by dropping any conversion to new riders coming into the league. (Another ill thought out rule). However despite pointing all that out a rider like Tobi came into the league when no conversion was required. That's the point where this argument comes into its own. I have no issue with him coming in for Swindon as the rules allow it. Should he have been reassessed or not? ? I personally don't see any reason why. As for Woryna, I've already acknowledged that he has a higher Polish average than I realised so it will be interesting to see if the 'more than 2 seasons out' rule applies again next season or that's altered to basically affect one rider. If the rules had any level of consistency it might make discussions like these much easier!
  16. I stand corrected. Didn't realise the increase was that significant.
  17. Don't get why you think it's ludicrous tho. Both Poles had very average seasons when they rode for Coventry and Wolves respectively. Woryna rode last season so only has had one season out the sport. Tobi has had 2 seasons out the UK before signing for Swindon. On this issue the ruling is very clear however .... More than 2 seasons out of the UK. Both riders haven't had more than 2 seasons out the UK. Have either progressed massively to require a reassessment???? Not that much in all honesty.
  18. Then he'd have nothing to say at all. I remember a time when paperboys had more respect.
  19. There are several degrees of concussion so that's not a fair conclusion. Grade 1 is barely noticeable. The problem with the concussion rule is that every rider is treated with the same grading as a precaution.
  20. we need to be at full strength to have a chance against any of the 3. We seem to have ridden Poole with injury concerns which has certainly helped their cause I agree. We would need to be at full strength to have any hope of facing any of the top 3.
  21. Shame I didn't speak to you before the weekend then!
