  1. We know why, he was too tired and couldn't be bothered half the time he did a full season in 2014. He clearly has no interest in a full season , however we are all putting 2 and 2 together to make a realistic assumption that because his foreign commitments are likely to end mid August he will want some extra racing in Britain. I will be hugely surprised if it happens but after Monday I'd be delighted if it did.
  2. Didn't you say wolves were clear favourites a couple of months ago?? Could be that Poole are the most in form next month but you probably won't say they are favourites
  3. No such deal . Wasn't Bjarne on a 2 year deal with Birmingham that didn't even last a season?
  4. Well explained. Both Poole and Aces stood out a mile from the rest at the start of the season with Poole looking the most power packed. The Aces have lived up to the promise and then some. Poole have flattered to deceive a fair bit so far. I'm not at all surprised the bookies have Poole as favourites given their history and starting line up. Don't see anything changing other than the odds as PO's get nearer. The Aces are the team very much in form right now, nothing different to Wolves being declared favourites by some (mostly Poole fans!) In the first 3rd of the season. To me it makes no difference what the bookies say even tho I agree on their stance, the team that wins the title via the PO's is the team that is usually bang in form or Poole come end of August/September.
  5. Nothing new here. High scoring reserves win you meetings and titles. History has proved that. Obviously it's expected the heat leaders do their bit as well. Nothing new here. 6. I'm not practising to get in Wolves team but I'm flattered you think I would make us stronger. Howarth started well but has gone right off the boil. Whoever we face in the play offs mean we will probably go out at that stage due to our ineffective reserves. Shame really.
  7. How very droll. Sliding is what speedway riders do. It's called amateur speedway. Nothing beats doing it , watching is a 2nd choice.
  8. Too busy sliding myself to be able to go at the moment. Obviously that doesn't fit your (poor) point. There is a difference to 'couldn't be arsed to go' from not able to.
  9. My night could only get worse if it was announced we were planning to sign KK! More than happy with never sacked Freddie
  10. Think it's called doing a Kasprzak. The TEAM was poor more importantly.
  11. Robins will be fodder in the play offs if they make it. Good recovery from the Bees after a rubbish start. Solid performance.
  12. Bates, what a rider for the future. Heat 15 winner over Doyle. Ellis might be that good one day.
  13. he has a valid average from his year as a world champion only 2 seasons ago. No need for a reassessment.
  14. Woffy in for Joonas after tonight if possible. Still, Howarth is a huge disappointment. Howarth was not a poor choice from the off , he was the top ranked EDR!
  15. before tonight I'd have said no way should we get rid of anyone just to fit him in. However after tonight we just won't be strong enough to take on the aces in the semis or final. I'd say so after tonight.
  16. Perhaps Kylmakorpi has been told he is sacked so we can bring Woffy in?? Getting owned tonight. My worst nightmare. The Aces completely exposing us.
  17. We aren't even half way thru! Not at all surprised so far. If any team can win at Monmore it's Belle Vue. hopefully the boys can bounce back.
  18. Exactly. No one has qualified yet for the title decider. Missing another home match and watching the updates tonight. Any win will do. Good to see that Zagar has recovered from his poorly neck injury and disappointed that Fricke can't ride in the UK but can in Poland.
  19. If wolves win this then I'd say we stay unbeaten at home. Our biggest test yet at Monmore. 47-43
  20. I'd say the EL is propping up the PL just as much. Squads is the way forward I agree.
  21. Thanks SCB, seems some Bees fans only remember the good scores. Not you of course.
  22. Any team could tempt Tai back however he won't because he isn't interested. I'd be slightly disappointed if we did bring Tai back and kick out a rider that has shown commitment ALL season long. Being ruthless may win you trophies I guess but that would be a tough call.
