For the less intellect , the ref made all the right decisions. -
Another 60 point home win.

It's job done now. Swindon needed to get Batch's average below 7 to fit Ward in and who would have guessed it lots of engine problems , an average below 7 and Ward signs. No doubt swindon fans will say it's just a coincidence. No more engine issues for Troy? Who would have thought! In the real world cheats are cheats. Come on Poole.

Loved how the ref was on point in that meeting. : -
Not again you mean?

Norris was good value when he did it and you are right the new woman came across well last week. Certainly professional. Let's face it with live broadcasts there is always going to be 'padding' and repetition so anyone else will face the same obstacles, I'm just happy to have knowledgeable speedway people involved.

Maybe I'm on my own but I like the expert speedway knowledge they bring and like the over the top exuberance. Be careful what you wish for. Besides Suzy Perry and Julie Bradbury (I think that was her name who did channel 4 GP highlights) and to a lesser extent Tony Mullard there hasn't been one other presenter with any relevant speedway knowledge and unless you understand the sport it will be a total car crash - anyone remember the Eurosport guy who soon got ditched after a few meetings? Expertise is the over riding key which both Kelvin and Nigel have in abundance.

Agreed we should be doing more, it's no fluke that attendances have fallen with each missing star rider. Without them we don't have a league with any credibility and only a small hardcore prepared to accept a dumbed down league . Instead of accepting riders won't come /too many matches /too many different race nights those charged with looking after our sport just do nothing. It's probably too late now but we should be making the changes to fall in line with the leagues that actually work and thrive ie Poland/Sweden/Denmark. Up the Aces. -

Plus there are way more one sided meetings in the PL. Those who brag PL Is better are sadly blinkered. Season after season there are clubs struggling to make ends meet. Workington, Glasgow and Edinburgh in recent seasons and now Scunthorpe are close to closing. The hand picked SKY matches generally offer good racing however that is not the general standard, which is no different to the EL. We already have the weakest and most watered down EL/top flight probably in history and it needs no further dumbing down. Amalgamation has already been tried and failed. There is no difference for next season either. -

I really hope not. Downgrading the product even further, weakening it even more and becomes a league with no credibility whatsoever. As proved in 96, it's destined for failure. -
No points for Swindon, every cloud and all that.

Mon the Lions.

Plenty said it on social media, wrongly. No wonder some clubs struggle to get people too attend anymore. Sad.

Call a match off when the track was raceable from heat 1?? No wonder the sport stinks more and more with each passing season.
