It’s called wet track conditions. -

You would have to be blind to not see that, tho some will use usual excuses to attack a great track. track still looking heavy, I hope they can smooth it out. -

Yes we know, tho highly hypocritical to criticise a track when your own has had dreadful issues for years. (Cue replies of its perfect now, best track in the country blah de blah zzzzzzzzzzzz) -

Plenty of work gone into the track over the weekend and today. Loads of pictures of the work put in and what they had to deal with with the tons of rain previously. once it’s graded and starts drying should be much better. Apparently last week was best race meeting of the season so fingers crossed the track improves once drier. Track is a leveller when wet and often favours the away side. -

They have had a downpour and the track is wet, what do you expect? -

Assured confidence I think I’d call it. -

On paper Nicholls has been brilliant at Wolves this year, Hans is a track specialist, Ty is a Wolves asset so it could be very close. Although I’d be much happier with your verdict! -

What a joy it is to have someone as charismatic and expert of the sport as part of the BT team. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The video clearly shows Ed sprinting into the scene and throwing punches. So wether you saw it happen or not doesn’t distract from the fact it did and he was rightly punished. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
In that case fair enough, however a ban usually affects both clubs as the knock on affect of the riders actions. Can’t see see Louis getting much joy tho. I hope they do and is announced. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final

It was meant to be a joke at the expense of the over the top marshal. I certainly haven’t questioned anything you said? So confused at that comment? My ‘flippant’ remark was about just one errant Marshal, as I’m sure the other flag marshals were in the places they should be! -
King's Lynn v Wolves 15/08/2019

Hopefully Lynn can get a decent guest but this has to be one Wolves take maximum advantage of. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.

Pathetic comment from Louis. He is equally as guilty as Cook by sprinting over to act like a thug. No different to Cook. Assuming the ban only affects UK he can ride abroad? -

And I’d imagine of all the flags out only one was in the centre of the track. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
As soon as the bikes started up, the red lights (apparently) came on and so red flags were shown. There has to be a sequence and catalogue of events. That’s all I’m saying. Yes we know riders pushed off whilst parade was still on, what we don’t know is why. No marshal should be in the middle of track whilst bikes on track. Even if on pits gate. -

That’s ok. A bit of respect never hurts anyone. Thanks. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Exactly! It’s a directive from SCB to all tracks. Ditto, but as you see fit to rubbish my posts I’ll do the same with yours. It’s only fair. Anyway, back to grown up matters. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
As a Marshall myself I know I’m not allowed onto the track when riders are on bikes, something I sign to say I understand and comply with health and safety issues. Red flags are shown from the infield of the track. So it’s not an opinion at all. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If that happened at all tracks there would have been no issue. But guess what? Some speedway clubs do what they want! It should be the same criteria for all tracks and I hope this is addressed in the close season by the SCB. -

One marshal acted inappropriately. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It shouldn’t be a fuss at all. Riders generally respect the marshals and vice versa. It’s clear tho this time that the marshal was hell bent on stopping Cook! We still don’t know why those 3 headed off. That’s all subjective. Refs test lights before riders are on track. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes I’ve heard that some tracks do this practise but I can only go by what we have been told that there is an expected requirement from all marshals. I fail to see any need for this procedure tho given that when red lights come on and marshals flag red that all riders are aware that it’s time to leave the track after warm up laps. With what has happened at Eastbourne I can see new precedents being set that all marshals stay off track. -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
stevebrum replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What’s relevant is that Marshals aren’t meant to be on track whilst bikes are!
