They have 4, they just need a consistent one. We need a number one. Too late now.

With rr and rider just back from injury we should have been. But as this is Wolves I take your point. Wolves just not good enough this year, pure and simple. Well done to the Robins for the win. Now to chase for that top 4 spot. My last time talking the Wolves up this season. It’s clear there is not the chemistry or desire to fight for glory this season. Swindon or Lynn for the 4th spot whilst we fight it out with the Panthers for the basement.

It’s one of those times when the opposition really needs to smell blood. Losing Adam to RR and with Tobi only just coming back should signal a chance of an away win although our record at Blunsdon isn’t great. You have to feel for the Robins who seem to have had no luck all season. However I expect Wolves now to be favourites to win tonight.

Perhaps he has done a Shovlar and disappeared off the planet for a while when his team loses! It happens. -

He could just be away and have better things to do? I doubt he has left the forum just because Ippo got beat by Poole! -
Yes in 2017. started last year at number one and ended 2nd didn’t he?

That’s great tho, just in time for the play offs...........oh, hang on........... 2 seasons isn’t it? Started 2018 as number one!

Unfortunately I think Wolves will stick with him.

That makes sense, but complicates things if he was a legal guest for the Aces then as he would be on his CL average assuming that would have fitted. All rumour tho I guess. Been mentioned quite a lot on here. -
I had air once.

Does seem odd that you would need a guest because the only other league running would be Sweden but UK would have priority anyway. Odd one! -
Heats 5-14 but not heat 8 are allowed.

He didn’t double up last season.

So are you saying that Nick wasn’t going stale at Swindon? He has made steady progress in his career then had a breakthrough in 2017. His whole body language was wrong last year and publicly said the track was an issue. Not sure how else you explain last season? id say PA had a point and I’d imagine quite a few Robins fans thought the same! Just think the problem could be Swindon’s, so be careful what you wish for!! Something is clearly wrong with Nick thats more than just overcoming an injury. I’d prefer we look at other options now the play offs are fading faster with every match. Maybe you could sign Morris in place of Musielak?

We dropped 7 points, but 9 in total. No worries. Edit now dropped 10 points. Another disappointing result and now more dropped points. This team on paper looked superb but has been beyond mediocre for whatever reason. The issue for me is Nick. He will be on a super low average at this rate for next season which for me is the issue here. Swindon will almost certainly want him back so unless he is planning to stay at Wolves next year it’s time to move him on and look for the future. If we can persuade a foreigner to try out for next season now is the time. Let’s face the likelihood now that we won’t make the play offs it’s time to look to the future and not give another rider a low average to return to his parent club.

At least the 2nd tier has it right now by having to use 2 pointers at reserve and I agree the correct pathway should be Development >NL>2nd tier>top tier. But once an rider has had 2nd tier experience it’s time to blood them higher up. This is natural progress and this is how Poland have dominated for years now. The likes of Drabik, Smektala, Kubera etc didn’t just become good riders it was because of the training and tier structure. Ditto Zmarzlik, Piotr Pawlicki etc before them. The sooner the BSPA take a radical step and introduce a tiered structure the better but I doubt it will happen as the plan seems to be plan it, bin it, try something , bin that too.
