  1. King's Lynn have no chance of pulling back 16 points. Job done by the Pirates. Disappointed Allitt didn't drill the referee a new hole. Very costly decisions and he just accepted them.
  2. As expected, as I said many pages ago. Our middle order are in appalling form and an embarrassment. Our team away from home only get going from heat 10 when the majority of the heat have heatleaders. This grand final will be over by heat 9 Congratulations on winning the title Poole Prirates
  3. While common sense has theoretically prevailed, Morris has a higher average than Kurtz for Wednesday. That will stick in my claw if Poole win it Wednesday and Morris nails double figures. Poole should be the happier of the 2 teams with the guest options.
  4. This is an absolutely awful situation for British Speedway to be in. For the good of both teams and integrity Ellis should ride both meetings for Poole and Morris for King's Lynn. Or both teams run R/R. The idea that both guests could be on opposite sides 48hrs later is simply totally embarrassing for British Speedway. This is King's Lynn's first chance of a top flight title in many a year, probably only chance for another 18yrs, and this happens. It really has dampened and damaged the mood all round for almost every British Speedway fan. British Speedway has literally died. Cannot be excited about this final and to think of the poor sods spending small fortunes to attend these jokes of a meetings. A very very sad day and hollow victory for either club. The BSPA President, Chairman and Vice-Chairman should hang their heads in shame and resign.
  5. I'm quite sure Poole will be happy with Ellis score for Lynn as I'm sure Ford will see him well.
  6. Not opinion but fact. Speedway is an individual sport and being the greatest rider individually is based on world individual titles. Opinion is having a favourite rider that you believe to be the best without statistics to back it up. My all time favourite rider has always been Nicki Pedersen from his time at King's Lynn onwards. He's my all time favourite rider, 'the best there's ever been' but I know and understand that he factually isn't the greatest of all time. Factually, Tai Woffinden is the greatest ever British Speedway rider. The numbers don't lie.
  7. The best and fair way to say which rider's were better than others is by individual titles. Even over generations. Mager and Rickardsson are the best of the best and can't possibly be disputed. They're very much at the top for everyone because of the number of world titles. So, to be the best British rider it also has to be judged on the world stage individually. Tai Woffinden tops the chart of the greatest ever British rider.
  8. How many of Collins 10 titles were individual? How many of Collins 10 titles were as a team and his partners score 0 points?
  9. First and formost, seriously hope Niels is ok, nasty looking crash. Secondly, King's Lynn fans need to learn that this club is never destined to win the top league. It is jinxed, end of.
  10. We're very good away from home from heat 10 onwards as that's where we have a higher concentration of heats including Robert and Niels. Unfortunately most of our away defeats have been because our middle order are to weak. Poole could have their home meeting wrapped up by heat 9. I just don't think Riss, Jorgensen and MPT will deliver to keep the meeting close enough in the early heats.
  11. You massively underestimate the quality in this Poole team and the poor form of Riss and Jorgensen away from home. You've also got to remember that R.Lambert has got us out of plenty of brown stuff by having 6 rides away from home. That option isn't available in the Play-Offs. I hope you're right and we can keep it as close as 5 points but the truth is, we'll do very well to keep it within 10-15 points. We're not as good away from home as some seem to think.
  12. That's your opinion but please tell us what Peter Collins has won?
  13. So actually, Keith Chapman's promise to "dumb down" the rule book isn't actually part of the BSPA responsibility. He has no rights to rule amendments but only the make up of league structure?
  14. Should imagine it'll be between Nick Morris, Adam Ellis or Scott Nicholls as Kurtz guest.
  15. I thought it was pretty good. Plenty of wheel to wheel racing and attempted passes. Rider's were quite close all night. Compared to many TV matches and what's dished up at the AFA the Poole meeting was brilliant Speedway.
  16. Correct, the Poole track has ruts and bumps but produced brilliant racing last night. The fact rider's like King's Lynn isn't a good review. Rider's like it because there's not much danger of being passed so is perfectly safe for them. Smooth as a babies backside does not make King's Lynn a great race track. Passing and repassing is what makes a great race track.
  17. If it was me as Buster and I was adamant that the dirt and amount of dirt has to remain the same to protect the surface, I'd try to increase the banking on the bends and see if that could add anything. It should in theory add an extra racing line or 2.
  18. One way to build a team with strength in depth. No R/R in future and if a rider gets injured the guest has to have an average the same or lower than the lowest averaged rider in the team. Every other rider moves up a position. If 2 or more rider's injured then it's the same as above plus guest with the same or less average than 5th in the averages.
  19. And a huge part of the problem is the fact that Buster is in total denial of the racing produced and nobody will dare challenge him over it. The shale used and the way it's prepared will never change with Buster in charge.
  20. Come on!!!!! Doyle's desire and desperation will be to make the GP top 8, not to get wiped out in a British League meeting. Can't blame him for not being desperate with the recent injuries he'shad too.
  21. I have to say, watch Speedway at King's Lynn or at Poole?? Answer: Racing at Poole wins hands down. Offers way more racing lines even with the humps. Congratulations to the Pirates, certainly puts you in the driving seat for the title. King's Lynn will not get within 20 points at Wimborne Road.
