  1. Don't disagree but the biggest issue that everyone (including myself) had with Batchelor was, if you that injured to withdraw from a meeting, how can you be fit the next day. Whether it's guesting or for your own team is irrelevant.
  2. I wonder if Stars fans are gonna boo Iversen next time like they do Batchelor. Pulled put of a crucial cup meeting through injury, almost costing the team the meeting but managed to take 5 rides and 9 points in Sweden the next day. Pretty much the reason Batch got sacks that fateful July 2017.
  3. What's the crowd like. Must be a tough gig going up against both Manchester clubs playing Champion's League??
  4. If meetings were a bit more raucous I'd be there week in week out again. Unfortunately those that still do attend say meetings themselves are still pretty boring, from the gate with lots of tractor racing. Only saving grace Monday was heat 15, so no, will be watching on TV as a far better value for money option.
  5. I say man up. Not necessarily football fans, more likely all the not so regular Belle Vue fans. With everyone a bit more pumped up for a more important meeting than the regular season. For me, just how it should be.
  6. Personally hope he gets out of prison and lives on the street flat broke. His snot nosed opinions on society will now come back to haunt him hopefully.
  7. I expect would Jye to be used at Belle Vue then Jonas B at King's Lynn
  8. Buster rides around for a good reason to him. His back pocket. The breaks give people a reason to spend more money = more for Buster. Track grading has nothing to do with producing better racing unfortunately.
  9. I thought it was a good meeting too. I'm not sure where all this only 1 line around the kerb comes from.
  10. Rosco already speaks out http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.3179
  11. That is exactly what I miss. If Speedway had that kind of atmosphere week in week out the sport would thrive. It needs tension and rivalries. Everyone gets involved and the kids love it. It's what creates memories and love for the sport, 9 times out of 10 the actual racing is easily forgotten. Night's like tonight is when I wish I was there.
  12. Supposedly on Twitter it was Rosco being held back, no idea who he was looking to pale though.
  13. Brilliant team effort from the Pirates. Nobody outstanding but solid right through the team. Somerset carried by Doyle. Think Garry May is clutching at straws to think Somerset will be close at Poole. Poole will win comfortably at home, by 12-15 then go on to win the Play-Off title once again
  14. Getting Berge and Brennan in at reserve strengthens the Robins in normally their weakest area. Certainly makes the meeting not so clear cut who will make the final.
  15. It's a good thing though. If anything happens in the first meeting another replacement is available immediately.
  16. My favourite at King's Lynn, can't remember the opposition but the Stars were being 1-5'd. Excellent team riding, then Nicki Pedersen squeezed through the middle of the pair on bend 3. Pedersen then slowed the race down. Then Tom P Madsen thought he'd have a bit of that and did exactly the same a lap later, this time barely a gap, sparks flying from the bikes, taking the 5-1.
  17. I know he can't sign but I can't find a rule that says he can't be a guest rider.
  18. I think Belle Vue will bring Jye back in as a guest can't they??
  19. Don't think it's got anything to do with Belle Vue as such. Ipswich are out the Play-Offs and he's been garbage for Belle Vue so I think Riss has cut his losses and gone home. He's withholding his services, 28 day ban, guests for both clubs. What it absolutely does do is strengthen Belle Vue substantially, King's Lynn will be in for a tough time.
  20. After a bit googling, I didn't realise Matt is his middle name. His actual name is Cecil Has his hand in a nursery called Nemo's currently, so maybe looking to expand that road of interest.
  21. If Ford leaves Poole, that's bad news all round for the club. No other businessman will run it the way he has and with the uncertainty over the stadium he will find it extremely difficult to find a buyer imo. Whist nobody wants clubs to close down, if Poole do, there's certainly an element of reap what you sow. Peterborough and Coventry fans will understand what's meant by that.
