  1. Spot on, also reference to the banking. This was also lost when the outside perimeter of the track was brought in and originally wire catch fenced for the stock cars
  2. There are a number of trolls on this forum and they're pretty obvious to who they are but seem oblivious to themselves. These people are the ones that can't have a differing view and just move on, they constantly keep going until you say they're right. These people also always jump on the same threads arguing with the same posters i.e. trolling. Anyway, back to the thread, where are we............. Timing my friend
  3. Still has a right to an opinion as a fan lost to the sport that's forever dwindling year on year. I've only been once this year to King's Lynn through illness. That's made me realise I don't miss it, only attending through habit. I too have a right to an opinion
  4. Correct, what they do to gain the edge over others would work for all. But, it takes serious mental strength to keep it going. That's what will sort the wheat from the chaff. Speedway today is no longer a smoker & a drinkers sport. It's total dedication as also demonstrated by Olly Allen & the Poultec team's classes. Just learning to get it sideways is no longer enough.
  5. Question. When Poole lift the title again, will that be a new British record for the top league to win 4 titles on the bounce?
  6. Is that for real!!!!! Bjarne for Watt way strengthens the Pirates
  7. I've have been advised that the Stars management will allow Poole to turn up race day then add the protest against Robson's inclusion. Interesting
  8. The rules are clear, Matt's making up the reserve rules as we speak
  9. Lets hope as many EL clubs close as possible (Coventry Swindon currently a concern) so that will properly screw up your arrogant mob with no clubs to race
  10. Great signing from the Pirates Looking at their team it looks more like a proper elite league side how it should. Will p!ss the league now barring injuries
  11. Don't have a problem with that as the averages fit. The workings of the reserve rule is a different matter as Poole are using something that isn't in the 2016 regulations
  12. Robson makes them million times stronger around King's Lynn. Poole fans saying otherwise are just trying to justify the blatant rule manipulation yet again
  13. The thing is, the EDR list isn't the 2016 regulations though. The regulations state:- FACILITIES a) Absent Rider (1-3) G or ARR Absent Rider (4 or 5) ARR only c) Absent Riders (both 4 and 5) ARR and G d) Absent #6 (if an EDR) G (EDR* only) e) Absent #6 (if not an EDR) G f) Absent #7 G (EDR* only) g) “No Facility” for Absent 1-5 PL G (PL MA of 6.00 or less)
  14. To right the cheating bar stewards. Here we go!!! http://www.poolepirates.co/news/20160225_newman-out.html
  15. Stars lineup amended on the original post Poole also amended as Newman is ill According to the Poole website they're bring in Stuart Robson. How is that allowed for an EDR???
  16. When posters can't even acknowledge a positive within a subject then their arguments against are null and void. It's purely and simply, bitterness. That becomes quite sad frankly
  17. Anti Tai folk will struggle to suck this one up. Again, delivering on his promise to help British Speedway. Legend
  18. Niels will not see out the Elite League season with the Stars http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/4810/nki-to-avoid-british-burnout
  19. After reading all the other comments this one really surprised me Sounds like it was Woffy's fault too. Sounds like a great meeting to watch and pleasing to end up with a draw for the Stars ✊
  20. Absolutely right but I will share mine anyway regarding the Elite League:- All UK tracks to be reworked, leveled, removed of bumps & ruts with plenty of dirt added Removal of rider assets, contracted stays only Review of the EDR system - No'7 Brit U-21 - No'6 any Brit with less than 5 years EL experience Team building back to 42.50 average A move to 2 race night's a week (Monday & Thursday) Foreign assessed riders 5.50 or above, their averages cannot drop below at any time Referees to have access to video technology Like GP's, ready to race in 2mins with visible stop clock That's just a few
  21. To be fair, if he's not able to do his job to the best of his ability he should be signed off. He's clearly feeling depression and you can see that also by his tweets. He could become a danger to other's with his mind clearly not focused on the job
  22. We all know that but Mr Watson is saying that's not the case. So the question is to him that how Poole got a facility if the UK fixture wasn't organised first. Thing is also, I couldn't see anything that says about which fixtures where organised first. It does say that facilities are available if a rider is missing due to their home federation fixtures. Poland isn't Holder's home
  23. Steady has already stated on the Podcast that he has a full time job now so isn't looking to do EL. Wants to concentrate on Sheffield only
