  1. Well he has guested for Lynn since then and did try hard so I'd suggest you're incorrect. There is obviously a reason though, wonder which party is reluctant and why.
  2. You are obviously one of those people who doesn't read the thread properly, I've already said I didn't agree when my own team benefitted fromm special dispensation in 2018, fair play and integrity us more important to me. I also said P'boro can still win whoever guests, they only scored 6 from Ulrich and Hans' rides last night so no reason why they couldn't cover again at home on Thursday if their scores were that low once more.
  3. It amazing how little research people do, Lewis had a bad night but on another day Coul easily have scored half a dozen which would have made a huge difference. He's had plenty of solid meetings at the NSS before.
  4. In the interest of balance guested for Poole against Berwick earlier in the season and got a hatful. I wouldn't disagree but you cant go moving the goalposts after the Play Offs have started.
  5. I understand your frustration but I think even with a poor guest you can win on aggregate, you did well enough last night with Kerr failing to beat an opponent. The rule is a sensible one and shouldn't be changed in between the two legs of the final. And yes it was wrong that Ellis and Morris rode for Lynn and Poole in the final of 2018 under 'special dislensation'.
  6. Can't see Kerr riding as MPT will grit his teeth a d ride through the pain I reckon. Not fussed about Buster but will be please for Rob and the riders, and if course to see the team who finished top winning it.
  7. What a track, what a meeting, what fantastic racing. Was umming and ahhing about going Thursday but definitely am, think it's very much in the balance as BV have hit 50 on both their visits to P'boro although they look a little vulnerable at reserve. Can't wait.
  8. What about scoring double figures in GP's and getting to semi finals? He has had a strong finish to the GP season and had an excellent year in the Extraliga as well as having ridden in numerous SoN and SWC meetings. I wouldn't have disagreed if Bewley had got the nod but folk saying it was clear cut and obvious to pick him are wide of the mark. It must have been a very difficult decision and could have gone either way.
  9. He rode there three times in 2019, twice for Lynn and once for GB U21 when he scored 20 points in the WTC. People are saying it was a 'no brainer' but I don't think it was at all, it was a fag paper choice and they've gone with the extra big meeting experience of Robert over the NSS experience of Dan. I think most people would recognise that both have had good years and either could have been selected with a good case for their inclusion and wouldn't complain about either being picked.
  10. I'm glad they've been scrapped for two legged ko ties, would be grossly unfair for a top heavy team to win a tie by using tac subs in both legs (remember P'boro winning the EL in 2006?). I'd get rid of them altogether.
  11. If you rent your telly (is it from Hughes?) it might be worth finding out how much more it will cost to rent a smart tv instead as that will be the easiest way for you to receive Discovery+.
  12. Plugging a stick in will require a HDMI port. How old is your telly?
  13. I would also add that the capabilities of Mimmo's BT bix depends on its age, if it has on demand apps like iPlayer, ITVhub, Netflix etc then it will probably have Discovery+.
  14. Sorry, meant a Sky box when I said platform. I have no idea about BT boxes but will do a bit of research to find out. Somebody else may stumble upon this thread and answer before me but I'll endeavour to get an answer.
  15. You'd think they would give him until the last minute to see how his fingers are on Monday with Kerr at 2 and then choose between the two of them on Thursday depending on how they have healed.
  16. That is a good question, I assume because it's an app you will have the choice of watching live or watching 'on demand' for a certain number of days after the event and be able to pause, fast forward and rewind as you wish.
  17. How do you watch BT sport? Is it on your Sky platform?
  18. Too much grip round the kerb early on, Tatum identified it on the dirtometer feature and Panthers fans have commented on it numerous times since Buster took over. No idea why its prepared like that, home advantage maybe? There was some really good racing in the last third of the meeting but it would be nice if it happened much earlier because it's such a good circuit when it's at it's best, up there with the NSS.
  19. Do you have SkyQ Mike? If you do then my understanding is that it will be accessible on there as an 'app' rather than a channel on your TV guide. Same principle with a smart tv. Sounds complicated but isn't at all. I'd even come round and do it for you
  20. Aces 190-170 Panthers across the four meetings. Aces scored 52 and 50 at the EoES.
  21. I'd say Belle Vue have to be the favourites, they've won twice at P'boro this year and ride it as well as their own circuit. Could depend on the fitness of Kurtz. EDIT of course it should be noted that P'boro have a win and a draw at the NSS too
