  1. My assumption was that Batch being pinched from Belle Vue means no Riss.
  2. Holder and Batch in the same team?! Good luck.
  3. Thats potentially quite a distinction between a successful season or not assuming Rowe gets his knee sorted, no disrespect to Thomas.
  4. Strongly rumored to be heading our way......
  5. Seems like Pickering would be number 1 on 7.2 ish so something below that.
  6. He'd certainly be a risk, but he could be good value on that average in what is now a much weaker league than when he last rode here. I gather he has struggled on the continent in recent years though so it's a bit of a gamble. Good to watch too, he and Pickering would make the team much more exciting.
  7. https://www.lynnnews.co.uk/sport/lynn-rider-owed-8k-by-crisis-club-9227047/ Thats a pretty shocking read to be honest.
  8. I'd not be displeased with that team, one or two risks in there but looks exciting to watch and designed to win at home. Would always have a decent reserve if not two.
  9. Can see where you are coming from but IF it was Jack I think it'd be a completely different outcome to Ryan. He'd still start as the 6th strongest rising star though.
  10. Wouldn't be surprised if he is moved on as there isn't a huge amount of value in that average for me. We've got about a dozen in our house not just choccies or sweeties but cosmetics, kiddies books and activities
  11. You are right but I think its probably time to put last year behind us and look forward, Pickering would increase the home scoring and entertainment factor significantly and would be a great signing.
  12. What's Crump's Championship average out of interest?
  13. Lynn did this the other year and it just seemed to wind people up the longer it went on. Understand the concept but not sure it's the best policy nowadays.
  14. That made me laugh I assume that was to do with the irregular shape of the first two bends compared to the opposite end if the track as much as the size. I really don't think age matters any more in speedway, particularly in our leagues. P'boro proved that!
  15. So it's been suggested that it's not about money or averages, one therefore assumes (operative word here) that one of the parties had something they consider better come their way since the initial agreement? All a bit unusual though.
  16. You can more or less piece together every team from the information posted on here so there are few surprises nowadays unless you don't use the internet!
  17. I'd say it's his gain as it is for the majority of riders who sign for them. For one season at least. I just think he had a poor year, extremely underwhelming considering where he was at pre covid. Hopefully two new tracks for him next year will spark a breakthrough.
  18. Well yes but that wasn't necessarily what I was getting at, it's been suggested that Plymouth have lost a sponsor so one would imagine IF the Lawson story is true then his deal with the Gladiators has probably been reduced in value so he's looked elsewhere. Either that or Poole decided they wanted him and offered him more, who knows. The whole thing might be codswallop but it's fun speculating
  19. I was under the impression P'boro would be keeping their team with a replacement for Pedersen? I'm not so worried about Ostergaards average but more how he has healed from his injuries, he's the kind of rider I could watch every week.
