In a way I agree with you as the amount of changes Poole for example have made in recent years is ridiculous but for Lynn this year no more changes means no away wins, probably a home defeat or two and no Play Offs. I’m sure the vast majority of us would prefer to see us at least have a go at getting fourth.
-
I think I described his signing as awful eighteen months ago but to be fair he had a good season last year but has been pretty woeful this time round.
-
Indeed. Nine race wins but twelve lasts.

So another away defeat last night and no point despite only needing a shared heat 15. With only away trips to Belle Vue, Swindon, Wolves and Poole x 2 left it looks highly unlikely that an away win will be achieved this season. Even winning the rest of our home meetings probably wouldn’t be enough to finish top four. Unfortunately I feel that the club has taken far too long to replace Proctor and while Cook was a good signing the injury to Riss came at an awful time and unfortunately Lewis has taken several matches to get going after dropping to reserve. All a bit of a mess really. Get Riss and a proper number seven in and maybe they’ll prove me wrong but it doesn’t look good and the season could effectively be over before the kids break up for the summer.

You kind of get the feeling that by the time we get our preferred 1-7 in place it’ll be too late in the season to achieve anything. Proctor and Slambert have to be gone for the next meeting. -

Maybe some of you lot shouldn’t make it so easy for him then and reign in your pre match bleating. -

Never fear taps, there is likely to be an Old Farm derby of sorts in the Checkatrade Trophy next season -

Kerr is certainly capable of scoring big points from reserve but for some reason has struggled to convert his Eastbourne form into performances for Lynn. Tonight would be a great time to start. -

It’s there in black and white, you stated we’d been beaten. Don’t be afraid to admit that you got it wrong, we all do sometimes. You look more silly when you try and cover it up As for the other bit, I got it wrong to be fair, you didn’t say star man but star men. So really you’ve managed to have a pop at all three of them....Lambert and Cook for being beaten by the ‘old man’ and disrespecting Harris by insinuating he shouldn’t be able to beat them when he is perfectly capable on his day. Bravo sir -

Typical Webbo to get something factually incorrect in his post and have a little dig at Robert Lambert too. All boxes ticked In terms of keeping his captive audience in for as long as possible, that’s great for Buster until some of those audience stop going as they are fed up with getting home so late, then it becomes counter productive. On a positive note good to hear the racing was decent. -

Without Riss or a high scoring reserve this has all the ingredients of a hiding unfortunately. -

It’s always been said that a longer meeting means more food, drink and bar sales for Buster and I can’t think of a reason which trumps that one. -
I’m a self employed gardener so extremely busy this time of year and I just don’t get home from work early enough to get to Lynn without rushing around like a blue arsed fly and having to eat a rat burger at the stadium for tea. If the racing was better and I was able to get home a bit earlier afterwards I might pop along a little more often but as it is it’s once in s blue moon at Lynn for me as it just doesn’t feel worth £18. It’s a pity as I hardly missed a meeting for thirty odd years.

I think that has to be considered a point gained considering we were six down twice towards the end of the meeting but we can’t afford to drop home points especially against essentially a two man team on the night. We need Riss back ASAP and somebody either in the team now or who can be brought in to step up to the plate at reserve on a regular basis. -
Horrible to read about this, best wishes to the lad and his family & friends.

MONDAY PREVIEW Sunday June 16, 2019 TY Proctor believes the string of home fixtures can help King’s Lynn force their way up the league standings as they take on local rivals Ipswich at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday (7.30). The Poultec Stars have completed the fewest home fixtures in the Premiership in 2019 which leaves them playing catch up on their opponents, but it could come as a blessing for Proctor – who has had inconsistent form this term. The home side will be back to full strength for the East Anglia derby with Lewis Kerr returning to their line-up after missing the away defeat to Swindon through injury. Witches, meanwhile, travel to Norfolk without Aussie reserve Jake Allen – who is continuing his recovery from a shoulder injury with Aaron Summers coming in as a guest in his place. While Edward Kennett is set to make his debut for the Suffolk outfit and Pole Krystian Piesczcek makes his comeback from injury. Proctor said: “I think every fixture in the Premiership is hard – no teams are really walking away with anything at the minute. I think it depends on the day for which team will win. You can’t look at any sort of meeting and think well, they’re going to win.” “My form is inconsistent at the moment, but for no fault of trying. I am doing everything that I did last year, and it just doesn’t seem like it is working at the moment. Sometimes it is as quickly as a couple of race wins and it all turns round again. It does help that Lynn have got plenty of home meetings left.” KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Michael Palm Toft, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Craig Cook, Lewis Kerr, Simon Lambert. IPSWICH: Richard Lawson, Danny King, Chris Harris, Edward Kennett, Krystian Pieszczek, Aaron Summers, Cameron Heeps. -
I do t think it’s rocket science particularly. Better racing on hole-free tracks, more entertainment between raves to create an atmosphere, regular fixtures, less R/R and particularly guests, cheaper admission and better facilities for paying spectators where possible. Standards at the moment are very low and the bar needs raising.

Nail on head.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised at this kind of stuff coming out of Mr Cook’s gob.
