  1. Considering the relative fortunes of Lynn at home and P’boro away I can’t imagine any team orders will be needed.
  2. If it was Pedersen there would have been no daylight between back wheel and fence, there was quite a bit between Michelsen’s and the fence there.
  3. Chris Abbs 42 West Raynham, a village five miles from Fakenham deep in the Norfolk countryside Self Employed Gardener King’s Lynn Parents taking me from a small child (earliest speedway memory around 1983 at Lynn) Mark Loram winning the World Semi Final at Bradford in 1994 David Nix losing his life right in front of me at Lynn in 2002 Henka Gustafsson, unbelievably good and exciting in the early nineties, almost played with opponents at Lynn so he could purposely overtake them on the last bend. Nicki Pedersen, filth. Massive Morwich City fan, love football generally. Run for fitness and I’ve completed a marathon as well as numerous half marathons. On Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Gordon Bennett 77 and Chris Abbs 77 on the latter two.
  4. He got a straight fifteen in 2014 (the season we went on a long unbeaten run) amongst other decent scores that season and I remember him top scoring at Rue House a couple of years back on Easter Saturday when we lost there, think he got paid twelve. He’s never going to be world champion but to suggest he has always been rubbish is silly. The evidence is there in the archive of the updates site if people can be bothered to look.
  5. This. People who say he has always been rubbish have completely forgotten some of the scores he posted in his previous spells. Much better than he is producing now and not at reserve.
  6. Not impossible but extremely unlikely.
  7. As it would be for any other club. I grant you though that big crowds look much better on telly.
  8. Not sure why the Play Offs would be better with Poole & Swindon but they are both going to qualify, would put them as joint favourites right now. Ipswich look vulnerable but can’t really see Wolves or Lynn getting on enough of a roll to pop them. Just hope Belle Vue hang on as they have the only proper race track in the league.
  9. He had some pretty good scores at Lynn and the odd one away in his previous spells at the club and some of those were on the top five. He’s much better than current scores suggest so whatever is wrong needs sorting pronto.
  10. Is there a common denominator here? Chris Louis?
  11. Because he doesn’t like Craig Cook. As I’ve said elsewhere if a member of a 1-7 becomes available for whatever reason having not been originally then surely it’s common sense for him to appear and override the facility to be used.
  12. How old are you? As you come across as a petulant child incapable of mature debate.
  13. Can’t see where any of the accused have got away with anything yet. Everybody should have a right of appeal whatever they have done.
  14. Would this not be the same though as a double up rider in previous years having a clash but the meeting he should have ridden in getting rained off and he has time to get to the other meeting for which he wasn’t declared? I’d have thought if a rider in a team’s 1-7 becomes available for whatever reason then that should override any facility already declared.
  15. There is a reason the team hasn’t won away this season (apart from the Elite Shield thingy at your place which doesn’t really count) and that’s because it’s not great. Probably down to Buster making his money go three ways as much as anything else. Anyway coping without one top rider rather than two is quite different, but now Cook is riding Id have gone with R/R as it worked well last week. I think you probably know the answer to your last sentence!
  16. The idea that Buster would be happy to lose 15-75 every week is ridiculous. Yes he probably builds teams on the cheap but it’s with the intention of winning at home and thus keeping the crowd levels up to make money and not lose it. Home defeats mean less turnover. Putting the Cook debacle to one side I actually think the team he built minus the injury problems would win at home nine times out of ten and wrecking the track like he has was probably intended to help the team win like Lynn and Ipswich do on poor racetracks. But if the team is losing and the racing is gash nobody will be happy.
  17. 1. Who said we are that good? 2. Whatever you think of Cook (yawn) going into a meeting against the form team of the league without your top two is less than ideal. 3. Buster has form for a tactical postponement. Just don’t see it though with a healthy school holiday crowd in prospect.
  18. Josh G has had plenty of good meetings at Lynn in the past, he had an off night last time, it happens.
  19. There is such a thing as overdoing it though. I think we’ve all been aware how you feel for some time.
  20. If this is a serious idea I’d probably suggest keeping your powder dry from now on about the guy you want to buy it from.
