  1. To be fair there have been rounds at Lynn and Gustrow in recent years which would on paper suit Robert much more but I agree, having a round at a small British track would add to the variety and open things up a bit. Having the first two rounds in Czecho and Poland has given the two best Poles the chance to steal a march and they have taken that opportunity.
  2. Would be daft not to have a practice if it can be done. Poole meetings are always close affairs and I don't see this one being any different.
  3. From kingslynnstars.co KING’S LYNN boss Dale Allitt is warning his riders to expect a tough test against a new-look Poole side at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday (7.30).In a rare Monday night outing on home shale – the meeting is not on TV – the club are looking to catch up with their fixture backlog. And Allitt knows the size of the task ahead despite his Tru Plant Stars going into the meeting on the back of a great away win over Leicester last week.He said: “They’re led by Brady Kurtz at No.1 who we all know is a very talented rider and they’ve been made stronger by the recent arrivals of Frederik Jakobsen and Chris Harris – someone who needs no introduction to any British Speedway supporter.“But they’ve got another key rider down at reserve in Nicolai Klindt who can be so quick away from the starts on his day, and he showed that by scoring 18-points in Poole’s win at Leicester a fortnight ago.“So we know this won’t be easy, far from it, but we’re just hoping we can carry our momentum over and keep that going for when Swindon arrive here in 48-hours time.“When you look at the current league table, it’s quite unbelievable how tight things are between all seven remaining clubs. Every single league point is going to be so important between now and the cut-off date and the race for a top four finish looks like it could go right down to the wire.”Jason Garrity makes his Stars debut after coming in for broken leg victim Lewis Kerr.Kerr will be at the meeting as special guest at the fanzone before the event to sign autographs and there will also be a collection for him to aid with his medical expenses.Garrity said: “I’m raring to go for King’s Lynn, I’m delighted to be with a great club like them and I’m looking forward to my debut.”KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Palm Toft, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Robert Lambert, Simon Lambert, Jason Garrity.POOLE: Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Kacper Woryna, Richie Worrall, Chris Harris, Frederik Jakobsen, Nicolai Klindt.
  4. As has been said many times since Poole signed their Polish ringers any rider who has missed a whole season here should have their averages assessed on an annual basis to bring it in line with what they achieve in other leagues. That said if Wolves or anyone else want to sign Woffinden on a seven point whatever they should be able to just as others have done.
  5. Indeed, last night may well benefit him in the long run, he has had a proper taste of GP speedway and the disappointment and anger that he will be feeling this morning will I'm sure fuel his desire and determination to succeed going forward. He has the talent, just needs a bit more luck in the future.
  6. No need to be negative towards any Brit is there? Nobody stuffed anybody, one had a great night the other a stinker, could have been the other way round on another day. Let's support them all.
  7. Stoke get the flak because the club and track has been in a downward spiral for years.
  8. As were Proctor and Jorgensen to a lesser extent. Good to see the engine room riders ticking over nicely.
  9. Lynn were everybody's favourites to finish bottom but yes, you guys are definitely exceeding most expectations. Fair play.
  10. Did he not get an enormous score for Leicester a couple of years ago from reserve?
  11. Klindt needs to be roughed up on the first turn every time as he is a completely different rider without fresh air in front of him.
  12. Thank you - let's hope there are no irritating niggly injuries from it which could hamper him Saturday night!
  13. Absolutely....it's a nonsense that only one rider is left from their original line up.
  14. Somebody please confirm that Lambert is ok after his fall in heat 15?
  15. Probably not the best example of moonlighting mate considering we trained him up from a novice and lives ten miles from the track. This thread is more proof of how speedway will never prosper in the UK as its always 'us and them' rather than all clubs working together.
  16. Exactly. This will be one of Busters biggest gates of the season.
