  1. I wonder if THJ could be tempted over to replace Lewis?
  2. Personally I hate team riding, would rather see my team take a safe 4-2 than risk a 3-3 by trying to team ride to a 5-1. You have to be bloody good at it and very few riders are.
  3. Me too. To be fair there is very little out there and perhaps waiting for the averages to change again might be the best thing in the long run.
  4. I'm sure it could be found on the iPlayer if people want to listen to it themselves.....can't remember it word for word but he recognised that we would need two signings as the two riders will be out for a fair chunk of time, and that they would be looking for the right characters to fit in with the team ethic as well as having the right averages.
  5. Was said by Robin Brundle on BBC Radio Norfolk's Speedway Show last Thursday that the management were exploring all options to replace the two injured team members and that an announcement would be made in due course.
  6. Slightly better racing later on when an outside line developed but generally it was soul destroying to watch as a speedway fan and a dreadful advert for British speedway. Says it all when a gating tart like Klindt can look like World Champion. Bizarre crash in heat 14, looked completely different from the two angles and Worrall's apology showed that he thought it was his fault. Tend to think the ref got it right though.
  7. And also Riss is the better rider and prospect.
  8. Look forward to hearing the other side of the story and the reasons why Flint is ineligible.
  9. Presumably if Flint snr isn't allowed to ride it means a rule is being broken somewhere along the line?
  10. And with an horrendous attitude. You keep banging on and on and on about Auty but I believe his CL average is too high to replace either of our injured riders.
  11. He would do a great job if he fits but I was under the impression his average is too high
  12. So realistically we are looking at Josh Pickering, Ben Morley or Emil Grondal from the Championship without going down the route of youngsters who would be out of their depth or down roads we've been before ie Simon Lambert and Carl Wilkinson to replace Kasper. Very little around with which to replace Lewis unfortunately, looks like R/R could be the best bet for the time being. On top of that lets hope Proctor's withdrawal at Berwick last night was nothing too serious.
  13. If we are looking at both sides of the argument then one could say that there wouldn't be rumours if it wasn't for Chinese Whispers on internet forums.....in the case of Iversen last week the fact that MPT had already been declared as absent and NKI not mentioned should have been enough to confirm his presence whatever the tittle tattle was doing the rounds. Football clubs don't comment on speculation in what is a far more professional sport and speedway clubs shouldn't need to quash rumours every five minutes either. That said I accept that the club could communicate more and that a short statement could have nipped it all in the bud but they shouldn't always have to do that.
  14. As dull as Hancock is I can understand his inclusion, however there are at least two Danes who could/should have been picked ahead of Pedersen.
  15. Agreed but he is still a shadow of his former self. Can't stand the bloke or the way he rides but he is a multi world champion and that ought to be the memory we all have of him (as well as knocking people off).
  16. Cook just looks completely devoid of any confidence or self belief. Really sad to see as if he was on the top of his game he would at least be mixing it and picking up some points. Pedersen should retire gracefully from the GP's, not up to it on a regular basis any more.
  17. All depends on whether other dates can be found really. The crowds will inevitably be significantly down, can tracks afford the financial hit?
  18. Despite all that baloney I'm sure he went where the money was best.
  19. lucifer Sam is a speedway administrator so I'd put my mortgage on him being right.
  20. Me too. Would be a very welcome gesture of good will to offer people with tickets free admission.
