  1. Exactly, he is nineteen. I think because he has been riding for so long people forget that. We should be concentrating on all the good things he does rather than the few negative things. He was born and raised in the UK. It's to our benefit that he was able to develop his skills in Germany before he turned 15.
  2. I don't think he's God's gift either, but he is the best young rider we have produced for a good few years. You don't have to support him, that is people's own choice but why slag him off? So what if he pops a few wheelies if he's out of contention in a race? Hardly crime of the century. I assumed he acknowledged Cook after heads one and fifteen in a sporting manner?
  3. Somebody calls you a p¡llock and with no reference to any Polish riders so you start going on about Woffinden? Nobody on here appears to have anything against Magic, Dudek, Zmarzlik or Pawlicki so why do you bang on about British rider(s)? It's a cowards way of arguing. It appears you just troll on here to slag off British people, very sad.
  4. I see the Lambert haters are out in force again. Why do we British love to knock a good sportsman when we produce one? Baffling.
  5. I'd say it comes down to economics. With respect Jake is/was unlikely to be a top rider so why would he jeopardise a well paid job.
  6. Why do you have to post this nonsense all the time? Most if us accept that GB are currently in a poor place on the world stage and just want to see good speedway regardless of who wins. Wouldn't bother me if Poles win every round as long as the racing is good as it was last night. I think most fair minded people would be pleased to see Doyle win the world title, should have done last year and has that look about him again. Fair play for his performance last night while on crutches in between heats.
  7. I agree, eight would be a decent return for Robert at 19 years old and considering his gating.
  8. Masters in there too with Kurtz at reserve I reckon.
  9. I'm sure most people don't give a rat's arse what he thinks.
  10. As comebacks go that's pretty weak and unoriginal, expected more from a man of your intelligence to be honest. Anyway, do you reckon you'd get brum to give up first if you had a 'discussion' with him? Bold claim if so.
  11. Out of interest what have P'boro done to offend you? You are probably right about my enthusiasm to be fair.
  12. I reckon stick with that for the time being, see how TJ gets on after an encouraging debut and how well Lewis does at reserve. We need a run of home wins now, although I fancy us to get something at Belle Vue next week. Poole won't be easy next home match but if we gate properly we should win.
  13. Superb stuff. How anyone can not enjoy watching Bomber is beyond me.
  14. I thought it was a fantastic race, and I've seen a lot of speedway at a lot of tracks.
  15. Lovely jubbly practice for Batch ahead of Wednesday.
  16. Yet having read most Ipswich threads this season it would seem last night was the exception rather than the rule and your racing has been just as bad.
  17. He has a good job I believe which must have a big factor on how much speedway he does. Welcome Danny Ayres, decent signing. Just hope he and Jorgensen don't miss too many meetings through doubling up.
  18. Why does he need to master the smaller tracks? I think after starting his British career at arguably the trickiest track in the UK he is fine on small ones anyway. He has struggled a bit at number one but moves away from there now so should flourish again, whereas Kurtz may do the opposite. I think riding against and beating genuine top class riders in the other two leagues will prepare Fricke for the GP's just fine.
  19. If anybody wants to speak to Buster on a Wednesday night it would be easy enough. I'd suggest those who are most vocal on Lynn threads would get better answers and have their opinions heard by the right people if they did that rather than posting on here.
  20. You can see the appeal of Belle Vue for Tungate, riding a track he seems to love and working under the Aussie team manager.
