Fricke and Cook both passed far too easily there. -

It's obtuse to suggest that Wolves have already won. -

To be fair Worrall did mess up slightly in heat one, he lifted momentarily meaning he lost momentum but PK still had to pounce. I much prefer bigger, faster tracks but Wolves is decent for a smaller track and I've seen plenty of passing there over the years which hasn't been the result of mistakes. -

Superb by Cook. I'm a big fan of Monmore Green and think it's a great race track for a little un but it's proved itself to be a trick track tonight with the best team in the league being completely caught out and gate three providing a huge advantage. Wouldn't put it past Belle Vue winning the second leg by 20 but it'll be a tall order. -

It's a pity when a particular gate has such an advantage. -

Haha doesn't take Masters long to moan and groan when things don't go his way. -

Jacobs can't even turn the bike, awful. Really hope Belle Vue can get back into this otherwise Wednesday will be a damp squib, just like the final GP. -

There you go, a bit of balance. We all know that gating is Robert's achilles heel but it's not always completely black and white. And he's younger than Holder. -

Robert will always struggle on a gate and go track unfortunately. At least he has three more goes after this year to win it. -
Bailey, Kinsley, Whitmore and Hampshire need to be back as they are potentially the future of the club. Not too fussed about the rest although Greaves would be a decent heat leader. All about development rather than winning for me.

Polish Ekstraliga Is Flexing Its Muscles

Perhaps then it's time to tailor the EL to the teams who can ride on the selected nights. -

And it would help if the UK stuck to particular race nights too. High time the EL was raced two nights a week rather than five. -

I can see where BW is coming from here, saw Lynn do exactly the same thing at Scunny in 2010. Make exactly the same mistakes race after race and get passed on the same parts of the track. Have seen Lynn do it at Peterborough too. When you pay good money to travel to watch your team away and they don't seem to notice what's happening on the track it's incredibly frustrating. It does happen in every meeting but not normally all the way through, normally away riders will learn.

Two great race tracks, two evenly matched teams, no guests or R/R and Lord Ford nowhere in sight.....has the makings of an awesome final. It's the one that the vast majority of people wanted to see so let's hope it lives up to expectations. -

As somebody said, who do Poland think they are? The riders need to stick together to ensure this doesn't happen. -
Hans Back Riding In Poland Today☺

Perhaps, but for many people a sport without properly enforced rules is pointless, it's the foundations upon which a proper competition is built. Weaken those and you weaken people's interest. -

If a rider is declared out for the season then he should be out for the season ie not ride again. If not or if there is any doubt then a signing should not have been made to replace him and guests used instead. It's pretty black and white with no grey in between. Which situation makes a team stronger on paper is completely irrelevant, a fact which seems to escape some people. It's about maintaining the rules and therefore the integrity of the sport, full stop. -

Then it would be nice if they could explain why Przedpelski replaced Drabik rather than Lunna for the first two rounds.
