  1. I think its generally accepted that Flint will probably benefit from a fresh start away from Berwick, sometimes riders get a bit stale and need a change. Can certainly see the logic in Glasgow going with him rather than Vissing. Equally Vissing would be a good, solid signing for Worky.
  2. You could be right, but he had a whole season of Championship racing last year which will stand him in good stead.
  3. I think Oxford's two reserves and Mulford will all end up with higher averages than Poole's pair. Trigger will be better than Perry and won't be far behind Hagon. Redcar's top two look stronger than Poole's to me although Ben Cook could be one the biggest improvers in the league. Poole obviously have the best 3&4 by some distance but I think their bottom end will be a major issue. As for Glasgow, I think Starke & Pearson could both flourish and they'll need to. Pjiper really should improve a fair bit too. Aren't opinions great
  4. Sure I read somewhere that his 2023 average rules him out.
  5. I think they look slightly weaker than Redcar and Oxford, on a par with Glasgow and stronger than Plymouth (as all will be I suspect). Hagon the key man for me.
  6. I think the laughing reactions to that comment say it all. I wouldn't say there is too much to worry about.
  7. I don't think any team will better Brum's bottom four personally. We shall see.
  8. I would suggest Howarth will be come the end of the season, he will be much improved at Scunny after a poor season all round for Plymouth.
  9. Below the belt and unnecessary It's possible to be 'worry about your own team' and comment on others, people are perfectly entitled to comment on any thread or subject they wish. They don't need to be sarcastically called 'experts' either just because they dare criticise your team.
  10. Why would it be an issue out of interest?
  11. Poole don't often get it wrong (and they may not have done this time either) but personally I feel they should have signed Hagon at number seven, gone with Lawson and the two Cooks and then fill the last three places accordingly. Straight away Redcar and Oxford look better on paper and there may be others too. However only a fool would completely write them off.
  12. No idea, but whatever the rights and wrongs that is incredibly cringeworthy and doesn't do anyone any favours.
  13. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/miscellaneous/palin-calls-it-a-day/
  14. I can't even recall him riding over here.
  15. I think they'll be the team to beat personally.
  16. I'd agree with that, they should have the best bottom end apart from perhaps Oxford. They are probably finishing bottom without changes but they look competitive at least.
  17. Agree, and the idea that Vaculik, Kubera or Michelsen will ride here while still in the GP's is fantasy.
  18. Hopefully whoever you are referring to will ignore you up in your ivory tower and carry on the discussion as they see fit
  19. So in other words it'll be an undiscovered wonderkid, a ringer or somebody not ready/any good.
  20. Do we really need another round of sniping on this thread
  21. Foreverblue is quite clearly not anti Brennan, he's just saying that in his opinion Newman and Thompson would have been better than Brennan and an untried sixteen year old, it's a fair point. Personally I think Brennan will flourish but the tail looks a bit dodgy, time will tell.
