  1. Interestingly a top six of Museilak, Basso, Tarasenko, Klindt, Iversen and Lambert would come in at just under the 40 point limit. However if there was an opportunity to get Wojlydo in at reserve rather than Simon I think they should go for it, as good as Lambert was last season.
  2. I agree with you, I don't see an awful lot of improvement, however you could imagine that team winning more home meetings than not and I think that is what's needed, there have been far too many poor performances at Lynn in the last three years. People stop going if the team is losing and the racing poor. Unfortunately the riders with improvement in them get hoovered up by the wealthier clubs who pay more than Buster and we get what's left. Just the way it is unfortunately.
  3. Unlike you to be negative Most importantly it's a clearout from the last three seasons which have been disastrous and a team which would be exciting to watch, especially if Charles Wright filled the last spot.

  5. That was when bikes and riders could cope with different weather and track conditions though.
  6. I'd heard Jenkins but perhaps he's going to Oxford with a couple of others we had agreements with. No idea what's left but I'd heard Brennan might be in the frame and I'd have Charles Wright in a heartbeat. EDIT 11.48 for the other two in the top six if my calculations are correct.
  7. Sorry if I've missed it, is the Championship 2 home and two away this year? If so that's an awful lot of regular fixtures for Oxford to squeeze into seven months.
  8. This is the worry. Not just for Brum but Lynn as well. I hope everyone is competitive, same in tye Championship. The gap between those with resources and good sponsorship & crowds needs to narrow and not widen.
  9. The poxy forum won't allow me to like this but I do
  10. But you do want them available and not missing large chunks of the season.
  11. Agree, also riders with anything about them (which Flint clearly has) will generally learn a track they aren't keen on if they are racing on it every week.
  12. If there was one person on this thread who I'd believe and who's word I'd trust it'd be Mick Bratley.
  13. Wasn't in a riding order, that's for Rob Lyon to sort out I like the fact that suggested teams contain very few riders who have appeared for Lynn before. A good clear out and fresh start is what's needed.
  14. You can't legislate for Bewley going missing so often though and scoring so poorly at Ippo in the semi. They did finish top after all.
  15. How did what work out for BV? Hope you are right on the second part.
  16. Whoever we end up with it'll be what's left once everyone else has signed who they want, a consequence of having the smallest budget unfortunately.
  17. Had heard this, would be incredibly brave but if the second division team is packed with chargers it could work. Would mean weekly speedway which is what we used to have in the 'good old' days. Of course the million dollar question is can they get enough through the door every week but if they take the plunge I wish them luck.
