  1. Lambert was constantly carrying an injury or other in 2019 hence his modest current average, in 2018 he scored paid 14 and paid 15 at Wolves so he can get round there fine. However four years away from such a specialist track is a long time, don't necessarily see him scoring big there tonight.
  2. The issue for me is the fixtures and British speedway's inability to get fixtures done in a timely fashion. Oxford should never have had to ride a home fixture on a Sunday in mid September. It wasn't that long ago we were bemoaning the lack of British riders in Polish leagues, we can't now complain that they are missing our fixtures to be there when we can't get our own act together.
  3. Masters can be a whingey plank as we've seen over the years, the only one I'd back him over was having a go at Pedersen in the Aussie GP
  4. Don't think we've seen an explanation as to why this meeting was arranged for today when Bailey and Riss were never available. Agree about the SoN2 but if he ever has any ambition of being a regular in Poland then he had to be there today, I expect he would have been made to be there by the FIM anyway if there had been a dispute as Poland have priority on Sundays.
  5. Doyle won the Peter Craven at the beginning of the season too. Very much depends on how fit he feels.
  6. No idea why anyone would laugh at that, seems like a balanced opinion. He's struggled a little over the last couple of matches, hope he can score a few more points in his remaining meetings.
  7. I guess we will see how fit JD really is. Looks a tall order for BV but if they can rip into the Witches early doors they have a chance.
  8. Has this been confirmed as no as that's what my research suggests too
  9. That's fair enough and clearly a factor but you'd still expect one of the top half a dozen riders in the world to score more than five. He had a modest score in Sweden on Tuesday too, it's pretty clear where his priorities lie this week.
  10. Maybe it isn't but Bewley wins GP's and has just scored paid seventeen away from home in an Extraliga final. Something doesn't add up.
  11. A million miles from good enough from Bewley. Can't see BV pulling that back.
  12. That's the bottom line. I think guests, R/R and doubling help don't help though. My wife's grandad no longer goes to Belle Vue regularly for a number of reasons but if you ask him why the first reason he will come out with is the lack of a team identity. I know on the odd occasions I go that if Lynn don't have a full team my enthusiasm drops. Overstated maybe but definitely a factor. I would suggest that apart from replacing number ones there should be a pool of riders to choose guests from who don't ride in the same division abs aren't going to ride for you one week and against you the next.it needs reigning in.
