  1. Apart from they were the best team in the league once they'd made their final changes.
  2. Musielak and Lawson elsewhere from what I've heard. I'd welcome Tarasenko and Basso (and of course Bomber) as they are all good to watch as well as having a bit of improvement in them, and freshening things up. Mixed feelings on Klindt, the way he was riding before his crash he'd be a no brainer but you just wonder if he can come back from awful injuries like that and be at the same level, a solid team couldn't have a weak link or any risks in it.
  3. I think we have to accept that we don't have the necessary sponsorship or financial clout to start the season with an expensive number one, which means a proper solid, Peterborough 2021 style team is our best chance of being competitive. They've tried it the last two seasons and it hasn't worked out, maybe third time lucky? As well as those names mentioned I'd heard the likes of Brennan, Klindt, Jenkins mentioned on the grape vine too. They've got to get it spot on with no weak links and second strings and reserves who very rarely concede points to their opposite numbers.
  4. I guess it's a retirement area and older people are more set in their ways and resistant to change. So it makes sense 24 hours really really shouldn't make that much difference though.
  5. Which I've never understood and still don't!
  6. Great top four, dodgy bottom three especially if the Aussie is a nutter.
  7. How can the cup be awarded to Mildenhall when they are behind after their home leg Absolute shambles.
  8. That would purely be a romantic signing. The ability at this level just isn't there sadly IMO.
  9. But then Lord Ford won't get his extra bumper crowd every year I agree though, get these finals raced in August/early Sept or get rid. Its doing so much damage.
  10. The precedence was set last year so presumably the double header will happen at Lynn some time in November?
  11. The arrogance from the south is still strong I see
  12. Exactly, hence the 'practical' comment. Or perhaps he's going elsewhere, or is too expensive for the budget etc. I like the fact this team has four Chargers/NL riders in it. There's a lot of potential in that mooted side with a top two to match any. It's a bit of a blueprint for others.
  13. I've never seen the issue with this if they think they the got the right seven riders. Presumably the one 'at risk' would be Heeps but if there is nobody obvious or practical to replace him with then why do it for the sake of it.
  14. Its very difficult to tell until everyone else reveals their hand, but what Glasgow have is several riders who have room for improvement.
  15. Christ no, don't want that lot with us again.
  16. Don't bite folks, don't bite Any team with Worrall and Harris in it isn't going to be 'shoestring' anyway.
  17. Not convinced by the wisdom of going with such a powerful top two but the other five can all improve their averages IMO, even Complin.
  18. And the opportunity to race for the champions, and to ride a vastly superior circuit each week.
  19. I think it would be fair to say that the riders have far too much influence.
  20. No, but many people realise that what they are getting is very often nowhere near the value of what they are paying. This is something that those running our great sport keep ignoring.
