  1. Looks like Scotland is getting biblical rain today, with up to seven inches possible in some places.
  2. In World terms I'd say he's considerably better than Kurtz, Musielak & Fricke. I'd question if he was regularly giving 100% for BV this season personally.
  3. That's great but points across the whole season is more accurate, if anything it highlights Bewleys inconsistency. If you wanted to go micro with the head to head we could refer to heat 18 last Saturday TBH it seems a bit churlish to be arguing about who is better than who, they are both great talents and most importantly British.
  4. I think the only way they can be judged head to head is in the GP's, there was very little between them but Robert has finished above Dan both times. I get what you are saying about averages but Bewley finished below several riders in the British averages who he is far better than.
  5. Classic BSF overreaction. Why would the authorities exclude two world class riders who put bums on seats? Presumably you felt the same about Darcy when he was up to all sorts of things as a Poole rider All a storm in a teacup. Neither rider probably should have said what they did (particularly Tai) but let's be sensible.
  6. He was, left when Alex Brady did. Would have him back in a heartbeat if he's avaliable in the future.
  7. If people are so incensed by late season signings then the transfer window needs changing. Its inevitable that injuries are going to occur and that teams will seek replacements fir those and riders out of form. Make the window close earlier apart from for injury. I'd also argue that just because riders don't choose to do full seasons here doesn't mean they don't care for UK speedway.
  8. It is Harris but I don't think the remark had anything to do with him, just the sentiment of 'summing up British Speedway'.
  9. I suspect prices will increase regardless
  10. I wouldn’t call quality riders wanting to race in the UK a 'problem'.
  11. Well done Sheffield, commiserations Ipswich. That was a much better meeting than Tuesday on a much better track despite the rain. Naughty from Doyle in heat 13, I'm glad he was found wanting in the deciding race, have never been a fan. Was an absolute plank off track too in his younger days. The guest situation is a long way short of ideal but you reap what you sow I'm afraid. Pleased for Jason Edwards and Josh Pickering who started the season as Stars, and of course Norfolk's finest
  12. That's the risk with Play Offs I'm afraid. There are pros and cons with Play Offs but bad weather and guests are almost inevitable if you decide the league in October.
  13. You are entitled to dislike him but why do people come out with this kind of garbage? He's been fantastic for us since replacing Laguta including one of the most memorable heat 15's foe many a year at Lynn.
  14. I think he probably meant only two riders who were decent on the night.
  15. Are you suggesting the bloke who has finished in the top six of the GP's the last two years isn't 'truly world class'? In any case two out of fourteen riders being able to handle the track isn't good enough. That was an awful speedway meeting, and we get far too many of those in this country.
  16. Lambert making people on here cry I personally wouldn't have said what he did but he's not wrong, the track was dreadful. Sheffield never pulling that back. Well done Witches.
  17. Well done Glasgow! Would love to see them win the thing now but I fear they are going to get marmalised by those pesky Pirates.
  18. The irony being that the speedway at Lynn isn't particularly good any more because of the stock cars and the material they demand.
  19. I've got no issues with those picks personally. We'd all like the Russians back in of course but they've freshened things up and that's a good thing IMO.
  20. Same at Lynn. Never seen the appeal personally but bums on seats don't lie.
  21. Clashes with the binners playing at home on Tuesday too, presumably there was no other choice?
  22. Maybe the two with the most ambition, who may not see it as a short straw? Perhaps they are keen to see the biggest names who ride on these shores at their circuit.
