If there was a standout candidate I'd absolutely agree, however I'm not sure who would be any better anyway, Ipswich only team not riding and most Championship riders very inexperienced at Lynn. Realistically you are looking at Vissing, Cook, Barker, Hume, Etheridge, Knudsen, Starke, Rew or James Wright. Take away those who aren't fit, who probably aren't in the country and those who would be debuting at Lynn and I can't see anyone who would be much better than a local rider who has done thousands of laps at Lynn and beat some of those riders on his way to eight points in the Ben Fund meeting in March. All that said we need Pickering back pronto, or the averages to change on 1st May so he goes into the top five.
-
The tie is gone, we are never clawing back 28 points in a month of Sundays. Lambert is the cheap option but also a sensible one, better to put the £'s towards guest(s) for Thursday at Leicester.
-
Indeed, which is why facilities need to be 28 days and no more.
-
Apparently they can't because the 5% doesn't count for reserves.

http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31327 Tie over, Simon Lambert guesting for Josh Pickering and weather set to be cold....can't see many bothering unfortunately.
-
It's Simon Lambert not Danny King
-
Well we all have the ignore facility and its your perogative to use it if you wish.
-
Quite refreshing to have an alternative viewpoint though, it's all a bit anti Buster. The truth in my experience is usually somewhere in the middle.
-
In this instance a guest would be preferable, but it should only be for number ones, senior reserves and when there are multiple absences. Guests for second and third in averages and from the same teams in mini groups should be a massive no no.
-
I don't think it's correct or fair to say that he's not bothered or doesn't give a toss, but as Daniel says he works to a strict budget and essentially he does things his way and won't be swayed. I certainly don't blame him for not signing Zagar who took the p!ss and I sympathise over Pedersen who let the club down massively, BUT for many reasons a replacement needs signing ASAP, R/R and poor guests are no good for anybody.

-
He'll do well to be at Lynn and BV at the same time.

I'm not sure they are on paper personally. -
I expect you'll get another 28 and then another and then another.

Leicester vs Belle Vue 19/4/23

Iversen had to leave Lynn last year as he was doing four leagues and Klindt couldn't join until Poland had finished so I'm assuming the Polish second division has relaxed too on the understanding they can do Thursdays as they did last night with Kurtz? -
Shouldnt have been allowed last year either. Farcical. Guests are ruining speedway, teams have no identity any more with too much doubling up and random guests all over the place. And we are being asked to pay £20+ to watch.
-
If Zagar had agreed a deal and then asked for an extra £100 a point I'm not surprised he was told to do one. That said the guest facility can't be indefinite.

Ellis and Brennan are my expectation but Wright has started the season very well.
