  1. Probably some truth in that but also and perhaps more importantly he scores well at home and is one of the few who are exciting to watch, rides his balls off when behind and can actually pass people at Lynn. And in fairness to him he increased his away average last year. All that said I don't necessarily think he would be in a successful King's Lynn side nowadays. He would have been in 2018 but for injuries but nowadays he's a 'safe' signing.
  2. Zagar isn't the answer for me. Not sure who is but he definitely isn't.
  3. Brennan an odd choice for heat 15. Don't understand why clubs keep signing Bickley.
  4. That was eight years ago! He's a very different rider and person now.
  5. And because Scunny has two completely different bends?
  6. Seeing as Poole look like one of the stronger sides (top 3) and Oxford one of the weaker (bottom 3) IMO then this should be a comfortable home win.
  7. If they have I'm sure we can predict his answer. And even if he said yes I expect t it would only be until GP's and/or Sweden start. Championship takes priority. Unless you name was Poole when they rode in the top league of course!
  8. That's a good, balanced post. What I would say is that the team spirit stuff is an important part of the set up, especially when you don't have the budget of other clubs, it's marginal gains etc. BUT you do have to get the signings right to go with that. I think its a better team than the two scores so far, but it needs to be a LOT better and quickly.
  9. Whether Dale Allitt is involved or not it all comes down to the pounds, shillings and pence at the end of the day. Would be lovely to have the kind of sponsorship Sheffield and Ipswich have but we don't so gambles have to be taken.
  10. I assume @szkocjasid means everyone bar Pickering & Thomson and I'd probably agree athough it depends on your expectations really. A bit of leeway perhaps for the two newbies but I'd imagine Cook, Bickley and Castagna would all be disappointed with their 2022 seasons if you asked them.
  11. It's a numbers game, speedway riders know that and accept that they have to move around, thats British speedway. He left the club on good terms and wants jobs in both leagues so IF he was replaced at P'boro I'm sure he would sign for Lynn again or any other team who offered him a place.
  12. Bridger was a far, far bigger risk than KK as he hadn't ridden for years and had a body builder physique. Lynn don't need a number one for the team make up they have chosen (who could they afford/attract anyway) they just need someone who is going to average seven which was the idea of Kasprzak. He either needs to be in amongst it next week and scoring points or to be gone. He can't be pootling round for a point or two.
  13. Didn't expect to be reading that this morning but glad I am. Something needs sorting for next Thursday either way.
  14. Exactly. There is no doubt he is/was a gamble, but two points from six rides is far worse than anybody could have reasonably expected. He is either unmotivated, ill prepared or has completely lost the ability to be competitive. My suspicion is that its the second one as I don't believe he would have been signed in the first place if it was the first. And I think its highly unlikely to be the third. People can laugh and say 'I told you so' but based on his last stint here and recent Extrakiga seasons he should be capable of being a solid middle order man/heat leader in our Premiership without pulling up loads of trees. Two meetings probably isn't enough to tell if he can do it but 4-6 will be I'd have thought. And he's not the only one who needs to up their game quickly either.
  15. What I would say is that Alex Brady has never been shy to make a change if necessary and I don't see his patience with KK lasting too much longer if things don't improve. You would like to think he has a plan B up his sleeve seeing as KK is a gamble. On the bright side Klindt and Pickering were much better tonight but the way the team was built requires everyone to contribute not just a couple of rider. Wolves at home next Thursday is a massive meeting if it wasn't already. Hopefully there is plenty of practice planned over the next week as a home defeat against an unfancied team is unthinkable.
  16. Pretty sure Brady wasn't involved when Bridger was signed.
  17. I just think Jorgensen is an average, inconsistent speedway rider. His away form has never really been good enough but he is decent (and exciting) at home so gets in the team every year.
  18. Never a good idea to post when your emotions are running so high. Not really any need to abuse people however annoyed you might be.
  19. Obviously thought it was a gamble worth taking. Might still be but not looking good so far.
  20. A bit early for that but you might have a point if the next two matches (ar home) go the same way. They've been two tough away meetings but 34 and 32 is poor. Lots of fingers need pulling out.
  21. I think its worth remembering he was averaging 8 for Rye House when he last rode here. Not saying I want him gone after two meetings but he needs to show something in the next two or three matches or it would seem pretty pointless persevering with him. Shutting off into bends is a massive alarm bell already.
  22. I don't understand why Jakobsen finds Owlerton so difficult to get round.
