  1. Probably in 2010? https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/7329/witches-coventry-12th-august-2010
  2. This is a difficult mreting to predict really, when you consider how bad Lynn have been so far and that Doyle & Emil should go through the card without breaking sweat then Ipswich should win comfortably. However the fact that Riss is still absent, the track will be different and that Lynn are likely to have at least three track specialists in their side means you could argue that it'll be quite close. I'm probably more fearful of Thursday night than Monday! Kerr being out is a blow but Cook would be a good alternative. Both better than Pickering at the Foxhole.
  3. I think the idea that Phil Morris is going to breeze in with a magic wand is fanciful. I was actually encouraged by what I heard from him on the @RoundTheBoardsPodcast and he was choosing his words carefully at times as he couldnt say too much about certain things. He (or anybody) is going to need several years to sort the mess that is Premiership speedway out to be fair to him.
  4. Fair play, great result. Your team remind me of mine 2009-12 under Lambert, wouldn't be surprised if you are challenging up the top end of the Championship this time next year. Just hope Delia and Co can get their ducks in a row over the summer......
  5. I wasn't, the combination of the weather, the guest and the first leg score made me save my money.
  6. Neither really, just fancied Poole tonight with the two R/R's and Plymouth having made a slow start. As you said the result didn't really matter but was a bit surprised Poole didn't win.
  7. Or for anybody in the UK for that matter.
  8. Was it not? You guys have made a strong start, Plymouth haven't and both R/R's looked to be in Poole's favour. I was thinking 40-50 and I guess if Steve Worrall had scored to his average it could have been but hey ho, fair play Gladiators.
  9. Personally I'd prefer them to work with the present incumbents and get them going rather than make changes yet.
  10. For me it's a massive effort to finish work, get home, shower and eat in time to get to Lynn for 7:45. If its going to be garbage for 22 quid I'm going to struggle to bother.
  11. There's a flavour of it here http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31328
  12. The main thing the team was based on is a high scoring reserve and apart from Jaksobsen at Wolves it's not happened.
  13. Steve Worrall in for KK (Extraliga rearranged match) and Craig Cook for Josh Pickering. Massive improvement required from the Lynn riders.
  14. Alex Brady not holding back in his post meeting comments which is something at least.
  15. But it never looked like it would be bad enough to only score low thirties, a team this solid should be getting 40 everywhere even if its losing. At least then there would be some hope that a slight improvement would result in a win. Certain riders aren't achieving what they were at the end of last season for no apparent reason. I get that some big names have returned but we have only raced two different teams so far.
  16. Yep fair enough but he didn't finish ahead of a BV rider last night and that's not good enough for a rider if his talent.
