Firstly just let me say I’m disgusted at the way the public is being treated by the bspl, I won't say this particular rumour because it betrays the trust of those at the coal face so to speak and they will know where it came from and wouldn’t tell me anything else, I also like to see if anyone else has heard anything along the same lines on here ,once something becomes public knowledge then I’m ok with it, what if the rumours are not true ? It spreads like wildfire and people end up with egg on their face

Well as one top rider said they won’t be available come January they will sign up for other leagues

I hear rumours which would make the whole 2 tier system is well and truly doomed, now they are only rumours so I’m not going fuel them until I know it’s true

Be honest, if you had a couple of million to throw at sponsoring British speedway, with the current state of the sport and knowing all your doing is giving it too the bspl or speedway futures (same people) to jizz up the wall again would you ? I know I wouldn’t not in its current business model

Whoever it is there will have to be a huge carrot dangled infront of them and unless either tv deal or betting deal or sponsor deal on the table that ain’t happening

They do and I don’t blame them, the championship is sustainable but unfortunately the premier league is desperate and either Peterborough or a current Championship team is going to be sacrificed to prop the league numbers up

If we were a sport just starting out, none of these financial issues of the riders would be a thing but because riders have become accustomed to what they earn and have sort of become complacent it’s now a problem when they are faced with being reigned in

I’ve never said I’m right, I know some especially on here are sometimes way off the mark because I MAY know the facts but I don’t need to correct them, it’s a forum, it’s opinions, nobody is right or wrong, promoters are in the main decent folk with the odd exception, I read all posts and look to what people are saying and at the end of the day my opinion is a valuable or useless as yours even without quoting someone to get your point over
