I don't see the issue being the reserves or the second strings although Cook will have to be half decent, I don't think Wolves have strong enough heat leaders compared with the top sides, CVS/Adams are right in that Becker (and Douglas) will need to really kick on if we are to challenge
-
I'm turning up for this weather permitting Should be a cracker
-
If the team don't do well the gates will fall away especially at £21 admission now so not making changes might not be a sensible strategy. Let's hope the starting 1-7 do better than expected and none are needed

They still turn the bikes hard in to turns 3 and 4 at Foxhall. Not that different to Monmore imo -
Predictions for Prem 2023 as teams stand ...

They won't have enough heat winners, the decent teams all have 2 good heat leaders Wolves have 1. 4th is the absolute best we can hope for barring major improvement from Becker/Duggo and Cook and Flint -
Tough for Wolves to make the play offs now I think. Ippo BV and Sheffield look appreciably stronger. Could be a battle with Leicester for 4th unless Laguta goes to Peterborough...

I liked his tapes but he was a bit Stanley Unwin
-
Yes at the winter talk
-
Well he hasn't yet but I wouldn't rule it out now, ditto Tai. I think previously finances wouldn't have been an issue but he's running a tight ship these days and we can't complain about that
-
Not really CVS has been clear there's no budget at Wolves for a top rider

We need an announcement about an announcement Speedway that

55 minutes ago, Arch Stanton said: Nobody should ever say with confidence that so and so has signed. Flappy could absolutely end up correct no question, but it’s foolish to be so confident. It’s a fluid situation and as I’ve said many times, things change on an hourly basis. I’ve also been told things by a very reliable source and in good faith, but until they’ve signed on the dotted line and announced officially by clubs then things can always change because there’s so many moving parts to these deals. PhilTheAce no doubt also has good info, but he was sure that Kerr wasn’t returning to Sheffield but instead going to Leicester. But Kerr has indeed ended up back at Sheffield. That doesn’t mean he gets duff info, at the time Kerr more than likely was in at Leicester but again, things twist and turn behind the scenes all the time. Barker to Wolves was Phil's best so far....

What's Zach's PL average?
-
Me too. A strange decision

I'm scratching my head a bit about Wolves strategy here. We didn't have enough race winners last year particularly in away matches and in key heat 13/15's. Masters and Worrall are likely to average the same, Schlein might match Morris's figure so any improvement has to come from Becker and Douglas and the no 6. Flint might be a bit better also. If Sedgmen doesn't fit and Cook goes to Peterborough there doesn't appear to me to be much to pick from. Could be a repeat of last year at worst.
-
Apart from the fact that CVS has said he'll never book Barker over his non appearance at Wolves for a Birmingham fixture. Sedgy looks favourite.
-
What is the criteria?
-
Agree on Sedgy I'll be pleasantly surprised if Rory averages more than 6 so overall we will have lost half a point from Mozza. Masters and Worrall should be the same so improvement has to come particularly from Becker and Duggo plus better no 6 and we can expect a bit more from Flint. If all that happens we might challenge Sheffield etc
-
If Worrall 6.12 signs then 4.49
-
It's not correct. We would be half a point over with Andersen

Should the OAP discount be scrapped?

£22 adult race night admission at Sheffield Gulp -
Yes agreed. On balance I'd keep Morris rather than go back to Rory. Don't think we will though
