  1. That's fairly simple the contract is at nominal value for the sale of the club but contains overage provisions in the event that the new owners are successful in finding a new venue within X years such sum to be on a sliding scale the sooner they find it the more the additional payment.
  2. Rain in the couple of days before the meeting seems to have been the main driver. Wolves have very limited access for track prep on race days
  3. Yes it has to be. Hopefully we will hear from CVS in due course.
  4. It might not be but there's a balance to be struck in any negotiations, ask for too much and the idea might get no further than the circular filing system. 18 months from now would seem a reasonable period for Wolves to progress the search etc
  5. What's the issue just switched on bbc Cambridgeshire and they've not mentioned it just before or during heat 1
  6. Cheers. I recall it being a tarmac track but nothing else
  7. Live commentary on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire from 7pm
  8. Is Hednesford raceway still there? Any chance of fitting a speedway track in there? Any housing nearby?
  9. It's hard to escape the feeling that the current arrangements at Poole might not hold together for much longer. Hopefully if push comes to shove then the local authority will try and protect the Pirates but I'm not holding my breath in today's climate
  10. Depends on break clauses as I said above. I don't believe every deal has been on that basis either. It's up to CVS how much detail if any on the lease agreement he wants to make public I guess
  11. Entering in to a 4 year deal with the state the sport is in currently would have been a very brave move you can only presume there would have been various break clauses along the way
  12. I'm surprised at the timing but not particularly shocked at the stadiu owners decision. With one year/short term leases this sort of thing is never far away
  13. Interesting statement this, why throw in all the stuff about the future, that was all known anyway. We are sorry Pedersen has left but keep supporting anyway as we won't be here long
  14. He's ok at Monmore though, this is trickier, Ellis is the best rider but doesn't seem to be pulling up trees, I'd seriously consider Kerr for this
  15. My point being the choice is limited to one club, Ellis isn't in form, Bellego, Howarth and Kerr are several points below Becker so it's not idea
  16. Nicholls can guest as versus Lynn in the home match...when he's fit
  17. I'm turning out for this. Wolves struggling for a guest with only Sheffield not riding so Ellis, Bellego, Howarth or Kerr... Unless Nicholls is fit of course.. Narrow away win
  18. Seems like there forecast has plenty of rain around Wolves tomorrow
  19. Belle Vue and Kings Lynn away matches for Wolves in the next 7 days. We'll know more about Nicholls after those 2, we know he's very good at Monmore but he's still a 5 pointer replacing a 7 pointer
  20. If Nicki packs in Panthers should try for Lindgren
  21. Does he fit? Who else Holder, Nicholls?
