The decision to start the season will prove an expensive mistake for most and potentially terminal for some. Looks like it should have been left well alone until all restrictions are lifted

Wolves track prep is all over the place. Too deep then too slick It definitely needs more grip than last night particularly on the 3rd and 4th. Provided that adverse camber by the fence has gone you'd get some great moves around the outside, Becker and Nicol were desperate for grip there last night

Yes fair comment then I should reword it that no speedway promoter has managed to conclude a deal. I'm still intruiged as to how anyone could or would fund the speedway infrastructure costs and probably expect to lose money in all but National League racing. Be interesting to see how it pans out

The fact that no speedway promoter has come forward at this stage probably tells us what we need to know.
